I hate writing reviews to contribute to the Google content machine, but I feel compelled to tell anyone looking that this Warby Parker store has a full service Optometrist practice attached to it, and they have up-to-date systems, including the OptoMap digital retinal scan machine. This means that your eye exam can be completed without dilation (the process that uses eyedrops which dilates your retinas to allow the Optometrist to examine them for signs of disease or pathology). The handoff between the Optometrist and the techs/store staff is very efficient, and you can make appointments online. This is probably not the best place for someone with serious vision-related disease, or advanced monitoring needs, but it's great for the average glasses or contacts wearer who values up-to-date systems and an efficient patient/consumer experience. Also, the digital retinal imaging is $35 extra, which, in terms of the convenience factor, was worth it to me.

I had such a great experience at Warby Parker! Everyone was professional, courteous, and made the entire process feel incredibly organized and seamless. I really appreciated how everyone had a role and guided me through each step—from checking in and getting my imaging done, to sitting down with the optometrist, and finally picking out my glasses. Everything flowed so smoothly, and I felt well taken care of from start to finish. Thank you to the entire team for making it such an easy and pleasant experience!

Had a really good experience today shopping at Warby Parker for glasses. Staff was helpful and very patient, even took photos of me wearing my top choices, so I could send to my fashionista sister for her opinion! Outcome was much better due to their help!

I just went to the store for the first time and I loved it! So many beautiful glasses displayed in ways that make them very accessible. Lots of different styles. Really lovely sales people who wander around the shop and help you right away. My ordering process was so quick! The prices are SO much lower than everywhere I have ever bought glasses. I think this will be the only place I buy glasses in the future!

Warby Parker Fourth St. (WP4S) was an overall SOLID experience: friendly and professional customer service, staff who are skilled, knowledgeable and patient, and a wide variety of fashionable or practical frames—all available at much more affordable cost than other places. I ordered a new pair of glasses, and though I hadn’t bought my current glasses from WP4S, the optician made adjustments to them so they’d fit SO MUCH better. For me, the drawback was the tendency staff have to try upsell frames with repeated encouragement to buy an additional pair at a discount. One such suggestion is plenty. Beyond runs the risk of coming across as pushy. Still, i appreciated the overall service and look forward to receiving my new glasses within approximately only 10 days!

I was looking for a new modern place for an eye exam that had the contact lenses and the glasses styles that I prefer. I was very impressed with the technology, the friendliness, the quickness, and the helpfulness.

Mimi (?) and Tyler both helped me with two separate things at the 4th street store. Mimi knew what color each frame came in and where on the shelf they all were located and she was helpful with narrowing down my choices and providing the right fit. Tyler helped me to adjust an old pair of WP glasses that I still love and wear, and both staff were friendly and helpful.

I was referred here by someone who always purchases her glasses from this location, so I decided to make the trip from Alameda based on her recommendation. When I walked in, I was greeted, which I appreciated. However, after looking around for a while, no one followed up to ask if I needed assistance. There were two associates standing and talking about their medications, one person behind the counter, and another assisting a customer. I was disappointed to leave without receiving any assistance. I expected a more welcoming and attentive customer service experience based on the recommendation I received.

Seem to be very good at customer service here, although I did not need prescriptive lenses as I was shopping for sunglasses. But quick, friendly service.

Karen and her colleagues are such a great team: concerned, kind, knowledgeable, patient, fun, and supportive. They are all very stylish and are happy to weigh in on options. Karen also is smart -- she gave me a little mini lesson with a hand drawn diagram on how astigmatism and progressives work. That's not an easy concept to convey in a few minutes. It was delightful to shop there. The place has good vibes!

Friendly people - eye exam was quick but not rushed.

Just purchased my second pair of corrective glasses from this location. The sales associates are top-notch- helpful, knowledgeable, and kind.

I love getting glasses here. The place is open, full of natural light, with plenty of options to choose from and enough mirrors for everyone. The people are friendly, helpful, knowledgable, no pressure. I can try on as many or as few as I want, then buy them right then and there. Easy Peasy. Spending your hard earned money on a complex prescription, can be very stressful- you have to live with your choices for a long time! But this is actually fun! This'll be my second pair from WP- my first pair are the best glasses I have ever owned.

Can get busy but that’s a good sign. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful and they make everything a breeze.

went there with a friend on a sunny afternoon and honestly had the best time. the place is pretty chill and we ended up staying way longer than we planned.
