Comprehensive exams starting at $85
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.

Insurance, FSA, and HSA
Whether we’re in- or out-of-network with your carrier, you can use vision insurance to save at Warby Parker . (We accept FSA and HSA, too!)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I had a great experience at the Warby Parker location in Glendale, and I want to specifically recognize Dr. Rafatzadeh (Dr. Rafat or Dr. R).
My exam was quite pleasant from start to finish. She clearly walked me through each step, explaining what she was doing and why. She was incredibly kind, patient, and sincere. I came in with a specific concern, with some minor questions between assessments and she happily addressed each one clearly. I did not feel rush, but comfortable.
What I appreciated most was that she didn’t push me to change my prescription. Instead, she carefully explained my options, offered her professional suggestions, and then let me decide what I felt most comfortable with. There was absolutely zero judgment, just support and genuine care. That kind of approach is rare and deeply appreciated.
Overall, a very positive experience. I recommend Dr. Rafat at this location!
A helpful tip for future customers: If you’d like to schedule your exam specifically with Dr. Rafatzadeh (or any particular doctor), you’ll need to navigate the site from the homepage in this order:
• Click “Find a Store”
• Select Warby Parker Glendale (not the “Book an Eye Exam” button)
• Click “Meet Our Doctors”
• Then proceed to book your eye exam.
If you click “Eye Exam” without going through “Meet Our Doctors,” you won’t be given the option to choose your doctor.

Purchasing was quick; glasses will be ready much faster than I expected so look forward to my new frames/rx. Would not hesitate to return--the policy for returning in 30 days is also a bonus.
