Comprehensive exams starting at $85
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $35)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

The retail associates at the 3rd Street location were amazing. Very professional and kind. They really know their stuff when it comes to eyewear and prescriptions, and suggested that I try on as many pairs of glasses as i needed so that i would find the perfect frames. The optometrist Dr. Mona R., who conducted my eye exam was great, very friendly and knowledgeable. I'm sure all the locations are great, but I highly recommend the 3rd Street location. As a first time eyeglass wearer, they made the experience great for me.

I'm so glad I decided to come here today. Daniel was awesome, kind and endlessly patient! He helped me pick out some great-looking frames and provided all kinds of solutions and tips for making the most of my vision insurance. I ended up paying less than I would have if I had gone in-network, and even got an extra pair of super cute readers at no cost - in fact doing so reduced my final bill by $15! As soon as I entered the store I was greeted by friendly staff employees. Everyone was pleasant courteous and helpful. All eyewear is visible for everyone to view. The environment is very pleasing to the eye. Clean and well-organized in every room. There are many styles to choose from. If you have a preferred style just mention to the employee and they will look for various styles that most complement your facial features according to your desired style you like the most.

I highly recommend Warby Parker for eye exams and prescription glasses. The entire experience was excellent. The exam that Dr. Brian provided was thorough, everything was clearly explained, and the customer service was outstanding. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. I felt like I could really trust their recommendations. P.S I wish I remember the name of the peson who helped me that was so curteous and nice (it started with an L, perhaps Leigh or something simillar to that). Overall everyone was very helfpul and I will keep coming back.

I didn’t even get to have my appointment at this location. I was ten minutes late due to a tree falling in the road on my way in and when I got there the staff was unhelpful and curt. They said I wouldn’t be able to have my appointment unless I rebooked for an hour later. I didn’t have the time since I had a meeting later and there was no compromise. I ultimately had to leave and it was an entire waist of my time. I thought doctor’s offices had grace periods for things like this? Better make sure you’re right on time or early or you will never be see here.
