Dr. Wendy Pham
Introduction
Dr. Wendy Pham graduated from the UC Berkeley School of Optometry in 2021. She is proud to be a member of the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association, and the Orange County Optometric Society. As a California native (fun fact: she graduated from Garden Grove High School), Dr. Pham is grateful to be practicing close to her hometown community. Dr. Salina Patel graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry (SCCO) in 2023. In addition to her optometry degree, she completed a residency at the Portland VA Healthcare System and specialized in ocular diseases. In her downtime, Dr. Patel enjoys reading, finding new coffee shops and places to eat, hiking, and playing with her dog Ace.

Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

Originally went to Venice location because my WP glasses of 5 years had an issue with the film coating that was bubbling & affecting my vision. Told this is “normal” but couldn't replace the lenses without a current eyeglass prescription, mine had expired in 2024. They sent me to their Marina location with an optometrist. The doctor was awesome, wonderful manner, great exam.
Front staff was lovely.
My. complaint is with WP pricing. To replace my progressive lenses was only $30 less than ordering new glasses for $325. Originally paid $295 for the complete glasses. Makes no sense considering the frames are currently sold for $95. And they pushed a 15% discount to purchase TWO pairs of glasses, one as sunglasses, for $680.
I purchased one pair of new glasses & kept the original damaged pair.
So my issue is with corporate, not the staff. I admired that you disrupted the industry WP, it’s why I came in the first place. But you’re a public company now, so I wonder….

got appt today. very pleasant experience. they submit the vsl paperwork for you. exam dr was very thorough and professional. my only gripe is i think the company needs to consider the ergonomics of their staff. they're standing all day and their service table is too low. despite that everyone was very cheerful and extremely competent.

Really great service all around. I’ve had getting a contact lense exam and ordering new contact lenses on my to-do list for a very long time. I literally got to my last contact lens, so had to go ASAP and should’ve done it sooner. Really prompt, friendly service, no upselling of services and they got exactly what I was looking for and didn’t push for more. Much more affordable than you’d assume. Really happy I went there. I wasn’t looking to order new glasses but at this point I think I will, since they make it all so easy.

Excellent, excellent! Helpful staff. Knowledgable staff. Friendly, but not over bearing. Excellent selection of frames and color choices. The staff was very helpful in sharing information regarding what was available to make my frames customizable. I ordered two pairs of glasses using my prescription - sunglasses and regular glasses with progressive lenses. The experience was great! Will shop this store again.

Was running late.. they assured me that I could arrive in 15m. I get there. They try to upcharge me for an optometry appointment, I tell them that I booked an appointment for an 85 dollar exam. They tell me ok I can always opt out of a retina exam.
After talking to the Optometrist, they decide she can’t see me because I was late… hmmm
Didn’t hear that until I refused to pay the 124 upcharge.
What I’m most disappointed about is the customer service. I have been supporting Warby since 2010.
Matt Morris told me to come down (after I told him I was running late) and take my exam after talking to the optometrist. They intake me until it’s time to pay and I request the 85 dollar eye exam as opposed to the 124 dollar service, then they tell me I have to reschedule.
I asked Matt Morris to next time consider the patient and simply respond that it’s too late to make your appointment. He responds ( with attitude) “ I’m going to do what I did again”.
I simply asked for a complaint card as Joanna, and Matt Morris ignore me, laughing with a customer.
No worries Warby. I get it. You just lost a customer that was with your company before you had physical locations. A customer that has supported your brand longer than Matt Morris and Joanna Lopez have been employed with you guys.
2026 I encourage all to write reviews and simply not support any brand or business that doesn’t want or desire your support/business
