Dr. Leslie Rabena graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry (SCCO) in 2018. In her downtime, she enjoys spending quality time with family, staying active through Muay Thai boxing and pilates, visiting amusement parks, discovering local restaurants, and exploring new destinations and cultures through travel.

Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

This is the second time I have been to the Fashion Island location & the second time I purchased glasses here. The staff are extremely welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. I asked to have each of the 5 frames cleaned before I tried them on and the associate who helped me gladly did so even though it took a little time. That showed me she really respected my request & did a thorough job cleaning them. I truly appreciated that. I think many people would want to have this done because so many people handle & try on the frames. I may be a germaphobe but this is very important to me & I won't try on any frames unless they are cleaned first. I ended up purchasing two pair of readers on the spot. I thank the staff for being so accommodating.

Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. I'd been wanting to check out Warby Parker, ever since seeing their commercials. I normally don't wear glasses but when I recently failed my eye test at the DMV, I went to the Fashion Island location. The staff were most helpful and helped me select the perfect frames for my face. They have a huge selection of frames and their pricing is great and a good reason to come back in the future.

The store is great. I've been a Warby Parker customer for several years. However, I placed an order over a month ago and the glasses still have not shipped. I've spoken with customer service several times and have been informed the glasses did not pass the quality control check, the lab does not have the materials, the shipping is delayed, the lenses are being attached to the frames, the frames are out of stock, etc. Each time I speak with customer service, it is a different story, and a new arrival time will be provided, the time will come and go, and still no glasses. I do not recommend Warby Parker after this experience.

I normally shop at LensCrafters, where I usually pay around $450 for a frame and about the same again for prescription lenses with transitions and anti glare. Warby Parker was a huge surprise. Anti glare is included with all their lenses, and the prescription is already built into the frame price, so I paid $95 for a complete pair, not including transitions, which cost an extra $125 to add.
That price difference is crazy, and the quality feels very similar to what I’m used to. If cost efficiency is your priority, I definitely recommend this brand.
