Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

To be brief, I selected my pair of sunglasses for $95 and when offered to pay I learned that I needed an email address just to purchase… I verified it with two individuals three times because I was in disbelief… Well, we of course did not provide them with an email address and I walked out with my old sunglasses… They didn't want the sale!!!

Very friendly and efficient! I had my prescription ready so was in and out of there with what I needed within 10 minutes and will have my new glasses shipped to my house in two weeks! I’ll definitely be back for some sunglasses and I’m sure new fun frames soon!

Ordered my 4th pair of Warby Parker glasses on 4/16/26. I was told they’d be ready in 10-14 days. Since I’m here on vacation I asked them to send to shop & I’d pick up. Today 4/29/26 since I never got a notification I called to check on them. Could not find a direct phone number for store so called the “888” number they list. Found out on 4/22/26 they were checking the glasses for quality and they failed and they have to re-make them. They could not give an ETA, no apology and no offer to ship them somewhere else after I explained I’m here on vacation. Always had good luck with then before but this is a customer service nightmare.

Tess, Erica, and James took such good care of me, I am thrilled and amazed. Right next to kitchen 86 on El paseo, super convenient and there's parking in the back. Come and see all their glasses because they have some of them listed, like low bridge fit and categorized in a way that you can actually get what you want. Pretty easily. Highly recommended!

We are so excited to see a new Warby Parker location finally open in Palm Desert. Such a great and fun experience with Erica and her team. They were welcoming, knowledgeable, and made the whole process feel easy and fun. They helped me find frames I never would’ve picked myself and I love them. I've been praying and waiting for a Warby store to open up here in the Coachella Valley!! I love their Customer service! Taz was amazingly patient and helpful!! I bought 2 pairs!! My husband and I went to the El Paseo store. We were helped by Erica, James, and Daisy. Everyone is so kind, patient, and helpful. There was absolutely no pressure to buy anything but we wanted to buy so many things!! They offer free eyeglass cleaning and sizing! We ordered three and will definitely return for more…. And frequently! They will ship our glasses directly to us, but if you don’t need a prescription, you can leave with your glasses the same day!

Very excited that Warby Parker opened up in Palm Desert. This was a much needed addition to our Coachella Valley. I had a wonderful experience there today. I loved everything and I could spend my whole afternoon looking at glasses. We went in after seeing their commercial and really liked the wide range of options--so many colors and styles. Sales staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Great help to submit insurance for reimbursement. We were also impressed with the options in the glasses--transitions, shade colors, etc.
