Dr. Brenda Tran graduated from the Western University of Health Sciences College of Optometry in 2022. In addition to her optometry degree, she completed a residency at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital and specialized in Ocular Disease with an emphasis on Primary Care Optometry. In her downtime, Dr. Tran enjoys weight training, photography, video games, reading, cooking, and drawing.

We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I’ve had glasses since I was 4 so I’ve been to a lot of optometrists. Everyone here was so kind and helpful. I absolutely loved the doctor and the woman who helped me at the front (I’m blanking on her name!) Such a pleasant experience. Great pricing too! 10/10 would recommend. Will be coming back!

Auset and Irving were extremely helpful and patient. I really appreciated them taking their time helping me find the right frames and correct lenses. I'll be back and I would totally recommend them and this location to family and friends.
Update: Received my glasses and had to take them back to have the lenses ground down a bit more and the Optometrist Michael took EXCELLENT care of me. I so appreciated Michael's years of experience and expertise.

I finally remembered to replace my prescription sunglasses after far too long . I walked in with my family and was kindly greeted by attentive and friendly staff. It helps that I’m a regular Warby Parker customer with my prescription already in the system and I already knew how everything works here, but everyone was so kind and friendly in person. We were in and out in 15 minutes after trying on a few frames and ordering the glasses.

I would find it hard to believe that anyone might have trouble finding a frame to their liking out of the wide range of styles at WP. I had a pleasant time being skeptical of coming in at first. The staff (AJ & Justin) along with Dr Tran made my experience a great one. They really made my time at the Rancho Cucamonga location one that will have me back for my second pair of glasses. I never felt rushed with any situation (looking for frames, eye exam, deciding the perfect frame, the final purchase) while being there. So thank you all! I can’t say enough about Randy at this location. It’s one thing to just do the job, it’s an entirely different thing to go above and beyond, and be so kind and helpful to visitors. He was so patient and offered great suggestions. He also troubleshooted very effectively when we were placing the orders, where I’m sure others would have thrown up their hands in defeat. It’s so rare to meet someone so competent and simultaneously so kind these days.
I’ve been to a few different Warby Parkers but this is where I’ll send all my friends and family thanks to Randy.
