We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.

Insurance, FSA, and HSA
Whether we’re in- or out-of-network with your carrier, you can use vision insurance to save at Warby Parker . (We accept FSA and HSA, too!)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I had bought frame and lens from Warby Parker online. My vision deteriorated and I had to change my lens. I wanted to keep the frame since it was quite new still. My wife and I have bought multiple pairs of glasses and prescription sunglasses and each time the staff have been phenomenal. Always very friendly and quick to help I've never had any issues or problems with any order.
I've also done my eye exams here as well and the doctor on hand is also a very kind and efficient individual. I would recommend this location for all your eye and glasses needs.

I’ve been a loyal Warby Parker customer for years, and the Valley Fair location continues to impress. I’ve had two eye exams here, and my most recent one was especially important—my optometrist noticed early signs of degeneration and was incredibly thorough, checking my eyes multiple times to ensure accuracy. She even walked me through the retinal images and explained everything clearly so I knew exactly where my eye health stood. It was reassuring and educational, which I really appreciated.
On top of that, I picked out three new frames with my updated prescription—and let me tell you, they are fire! The styles here are modern, flattering, and super affordable. Honestly, with this level of care and selection, there’s no reason not to shop with Warby Parker. They’ve earned my trust and my business, again and again.

I like Warby Parker’s service and pricing. But you get what you pay for. The coating on their lenses wears off. The frame is pretty good. My old glasses from Costco lasted much longer

Dr. Tracy Nyugen is the best eye specialist I have met in decades! This was my second yearly glasses+contacts exam with her. As always, She was kind, knowledgeable and meticulous in her exam. She ran elaborate tests, explained results in detail with reference images and answered all of my questions. I struggled with my contacts with long nails and she taught me an easy hack to take it out. Also, she was super friendly and accommodating. For contacts, she showed me a table with metrics to aid in finding the best contacts for my eye health. I will keep returning to her if I am around. The store personnel Artur (might be misspelled) was super helpful with the initial exams, insurance check and explaining product options. I am waiting for my insurance to renew in 10 days to place an order. Overall, absolutely loved the experience and definitely recommend this store!

The service is excellent, from helping find your pair to the ease of ordering and getting your previous pair adjusted the staff in every store is friendly and professional.
