Introduction
Our video-assisted exams are performed by a panel of state licensed remote doctors. An in-person optometric assistant will perform eye tests to assess your vision, and then one of our remote doctors will video call in to the exam room to complete your exam

Comprehensive exams starting at $85
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $35)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I wanted to get an eye exam as I had a DMV eye exam scheduled and wanted to pass. Long time since I had an eye exam. They were able to schedule my exam right away. The whole experience was relaxed and pleasant. I did need glasses and really liked the variety of frames.
Everyone was easy to work with, efficient and I was in and out in an hour.

Warby Parker provided me with the best customer service and experience. The salesperson (Elle, hope I got the spelling correct) in the store I went to in Montgomery Village was so knowledgeable and helpful. Optical sales is a tough business - eyeglass frames are a commodity but also truly a specialty, so Optical sits in a special spot in terms of providing value. I think Warby Parker has it dialed in exactly right. I ended up at Warby Parker due to the poor benefit as well as the poor experience at Kaiser, who told me it would take at least 3 1/2 weeks to get new Rx eyeglasses, and no new $175 benefit for 2 years. Beyond which their opening hours (and requiring an "appointment" for anything and everything Optical) are not in line with the retail business Optical actually is. Thank you Warby Parker, and especially to Elle for being such a positive, professional and knowledgeable person in helping me :) It was a great experience!

The staff is most welcoming and receptive upon entering their store. The staff is very helpful in helping one select frames that meet your needs, face shape, and coloring of your face and head. This is very important so as to have glasses that are "you" glasses, not just from off a rack at Walmart or Costco.
The opticians at Warby Parker are most skilled in ensuring your glasses fit and feel comfortable and optimize your specific zones... that is reading, store shelves, computer, and distance.

Walked into store to see if I could replace my WP sunglasses I lost. Sales associate was amazing, found the exact pair I lost, recommended I upgrade with polarized lenses - it all took less than 15 minutes and I was out of the store! The glasses will be sent to me in a week

Unable to talk to person at the store.
They use only out sourced people and had to call three times to be connected to US based rep.
Needed to place an order to replace my glasses.
They insisted that I pay online ommediately or order won't be placed.
When I first ordered glasses last year.at Store I didn't have to pay until I picked them up.
Sounds like another out source Scam today
So different from last year when I called and spoke employee at the store not outsourced
Have had ID theft several times and I don't do Financials online or over the phone anymore.
Will go in person to order replacement glasses then never again will I do business with them.
Too bad because I had a wonderful experience last year and thought they would be go to place for ordering glasses.
Out sourced employee just happened to be my 1st ID theft. A night mare!
Imo American businesses should not be out sourcing! Too much risk to the customer's identity.

This was my second visit for an eye exam at this Warby Parker site. At this visit the staff was professional, courteous, and efficient. The remote eye exam works just fine for me, and love being able to get great prices on my prescription glasses and contacts.

I was greeted warmly when I arrived and escorted to the exam room. The tech was very thorough and friendly. The same with the doctor. I felt that I had an excellent exam. When I was finished the staff helped me pick out frames. I ended up with a pair that Kay recommended.

I'm one who wants to try frames on in person so I had heard good things about Warby Parker. I found the one closest to me, which was this store. I brought my husband with me and tried on loads of frames and found some I liked. The staff there were all incredibly friendly and helpful and offered advice and opinions in all the right ways. I felt very well taken care of and the experience was so easy and fast. They have frames for every budget and I found them to be reasonable. I've placed an order for both computer needs and driving/distance needs. A+ from me so far!

The optician was kind and helpful, the store well equipped, and the service excellent. I stopped in to have some adjustments made to two pairs of sunglasses I’d purchased online, and the staff took care of me quickly.
My only area for improvement: when the technician adjusted the fit, the clamps used during the heat treatment process left a few visible marks on the frames. Not a major issue, but a bit disappointing.
Otherwise, the overall service and experience were great—thank you!

If I could give zero stars, I would. I moved here recently, and had both my nosepieces fall off my rimless glasses. I called to see if I could new ones put on. The woman said if I didn't get my glasses there, they would not help me. I said I would be happy to pay for them; and that they were referred to me. She said they would not sell them to me either. I asked her if she knew of another store for glasses, and she said she couldn't help me. Totally not helpful, nor friendly.

Absolutely wonderful experience for my first visit. Staff was so nice and inviting. They gave me the space to walk around and try glasses on without hovering but was very helpful when I did have questions. This will be the place I will be going for any future purchases.

I love this Warby Parker! I've been to the one in S.F. and the one in Corte Madera and this one in Montgomery Village is by far the nicest and best. Everyone is ALWAYS so cheery and nice and professional! I told them it felt as lovely as walking into a See's Candy place. The loved that! You're just happy when you walk inside with how clean and bright everything is and always nice music. I can't say enough. This time they helped me with a pair of prescription sunglasses that weren’t quite right when I received them and they fixed the problem with absolute ease!
