Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

Great place to get new glasses! I ordered a pair after coming in person and all the staff were very helpful. Shipping was super fast, but once I received the glasses, I realized the fit wasn’t right for me. I returned them in store and was assisted by the lovely Jillian who went above and beyond, going back and forth with giving me options to try on until we found two frames that best suited my face. She made me feel so comfortable and excited (even when I was being indecisive), and the experience was made great because of her. Thank you, Jillian!

Hard to get into store with the Ice Cream shop foot traffic. NGL, it's annoying. Once in the shop, they ask to help you right away. Not snobs. So that helps because Studio City is a Hollywoody Snobby area. It sucks there. They let you take all the time you need to look. The helpers are super young. Which is weird, and awkward. But that being said: They are super helpful, super sweet, super nice. My Helper Bee was called "Caleb" and he was awesome. Deserves a shout out because he was exceedingly patient and very helpful. Just a great young man. I wish I could have the glasses delivered to the shop for pickup because my post box situation is sketch. But it's all good. General very pleasant experience for an onerous task.

I am so happy with Warby Parker in Studio City. The doctor gave me a thorough exam and was so thoughtful, giving me time to make sure I picked the right answers and answering all my questions. She was super nice too. The people at the front were very helpful and also incredibly nice. One of them help me choose between glasses because I'm horrible at picking them out myself. But beyond that, it felt so friendly there. It felt like going to a shop and finding out a friend of yours works there, only I didn't know this friend yet. Also, prices are good and the glasses are nice. This is my third time going in a row going to Warby Parker, ever since a friend sent me there because he loves it.

Got my eye exam done with my optometrist and picked out frames. I have vision insurance and for 2 pairs of glasses, I was going to come out of pocket a significant amount of money.
I saw an add for Warby Parker and looked up my closest store- Studio City. Off I went. Aside from parking- total nightmare- once you're inside, it's a haven.
Great, no pressure customer service, readily explained glasses pricing and possible add ons. Took my time trying on and deciding. I was able to get 2 pairs plus prescription sunglasses for a third of what the eye doctor's built in optometry people were going to charge. I ensured the fit, they took my measurements, and this included free shipping. The bonus was it is supposed to arrive 2 weeks faster than my eye doctor!
They even filed a claim on my behalf with my vision insurance and estimated the refund check that would arrive in the mail!
I could not have been happier with this purchase experience and ease of use.
They earned a huge fan today. AMAZING!
*UPDATE* I received my glasses in the mail, EARLIER than they told me they'd arrive. They came with a sturdy case and glass cleaning towlette. Easy peasy. Loyal customer now!
