Comprehensive exams starting at $85
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.

Whether we’re in- or out-of-network with your carrier, you can use vision insurance to save at Warby Parker . (We accept FSA and HSA, too!)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

The staff are absolute rockstars at the time of my visit. I had an excellent exam (the optometrist answered every dumb question I had, laughed when I giggled at how good it was to see again). Front staff was patient with my choices, gave me details on options, showed different discounts - and dealt with grace and the most dry wit I’ve seen when it came to a rude other customer.
I’m not kidding when I say I’d come back with no need for glasses or exam just to people watch and hang, that’s how the experience felt today.

Had really good experience with the gentleman that did my eye exam he’s not there regularly. So I went to purchase glasses, paid $808. Because of being rushed felt like I may want an exchange. Came in within 20 days of purchase- the exchange has a difference of $50 said no problem. About a week later I’m in the chair getting my hair done going why my card so crazy? He charged me a whole $858 more, instead of only $50 difference, made some excuse like see why I had to? I’m trying to be calm an said fix this. He hands me a receipt showing I will get back, 808 back, now when I check my account I’m about to go get my glasses today. I only received $758 back? Wow no clue why this company continues to work my cortisol levels but this is crazy? I don’t even want to mention the phone calls go to the Philippines first - I know what this means you are paying ppl 4/hr - for a corporate company why are you trusting these employees with those calls… that also is for my 1 star. Today I will be going in asking for my $50 difference along with $858 because I am not happy - I wish it was different - this was a financial issue since times are not the time to start short changing along with overcharges you would hope I wouldn’t notice.

After having an awful experience at LensCrafters Valencia, with the glasses/retail part of the store, I went to Warby Parker to get a new pair of glasses. The selection, pricing and service was so great that I bought two pairs instead of just one. It was a great experience, and I will continue to buy all of my glasses from Warby Parker in the future.

The customer service I received at Warby Parker, Studio City, from Elizabeth was STELLAR. She was kind, patient. As this was my first prescription, the information she provided was not only much needed, but very clear & she answered every question I had with grace. Perhaps the most profound moment occurred when I shared I was replacing the lens in the glasses I purchased for my sister who died tragically, Elizabeth asked her name & gave me a hug. Her gesture reminded me that there are people in this world who care about others, even strangers & customers.

I went in to order yesterday and it felt rushed. The employee was very monotone and didn’t ask me for my correct information turns out she ordered me the wrong color glasses even after she said they were in stock online. She also didn’t verify my information and she submitted the order in an old account which I no longer have access to. I just had to call customer service to cancel it because that was the only style I wanted and I’ve been waiting all year for it and she gave me false hope that they had it but turns out they don’t.. I always order from WP so this is very disappointing.

I walked into Warby Parker today looking for new sunglass frames and I was helped by Maddy. She was extremely helpful and she even offered to clean my current prescription glasses. She noticed how scratched they were and I told her I recently got them but l dropped them and they got pretty scratched. She asked if it had been over six months since I last purchased them and I told her I wasn't sure she went online and checked for me and it turned out it hadn't been 6 months. I had no idea there was a warranty, I got my frames replaced and that made me so happy. So grateful to be a long time customer of such a great establishment, also very excited to get my new sunglasses. Thanks Maddy & Warby Parker! 💚

Never received an email (like they said I would) of my receipt for the eye exam and a copy of my prescription. I even triple checked my email address with them at the time of my eye exam. It makes me wonder if I order glasses through them, will I actually get them? Two stars because the optometrist was smart and personable. Otherwise, just a half star. This was my first time with Warby Parker and I am not impressed and would not recommend them to anyone.
