Specializing in primary care optometry, Dr. Sabado uses cutting-edge technology and clinical expertise to perform a comprehensive eye health exam—prescribing eyeglasses, fitting contact lenses, evaluating eye health, and more for patients ages 4 and up.

Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $35)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I love Warby Parker. Their glasses are super affordable for me as a student. I am currently studying stem cells and the cellular mechanisms behind pluripotency. Today, Altana- silent t; so Alana helped me in Boulder, CO at 29th street. The thing about Alana is she is super relatable and casual. I felt at ease while I selected my glasses. Thank you! I wish I could give a million stars. Every person I interacted was so kind and helpful. This was the first exam I've ever had where the optometrist explained everything she was doing and why. It was amazing. When trying on frames, I had found one I liked but didn't fit exactly right, but they were able to find me the narrow version of the frames which ended up being the perfect fit, and even made sure it was the color I wanted!! Truly would recommend this place to anyone, it was a great experience from start to finish. :)

The store for the most part is ok. When you walk in you get swarmed by employee's and that’s a bit overwhelming. My low review stems from the fact that the website and the instore staff push the fact that it can be covered by insurance. Well Anthem insurance DOES NOT cover glasses there in full because it’s considered out of network. Out of a $145 purchase Anthem covered $45. Most people will be better off paying for their glasses out of their HSA account if they have one. However, they are cheaper than and real eye doctor and that’s why they are probably so successful. Update (1/11/19) Now I got a letter in the mail saying my personal information on line has been stollen. Thanks Warby Parker. The experience just keeps getting worst.

I have a great experience buying sunglasses at the Warby a Parker on 29th Street in Boulder. The sale running current is “buy 2 get 15% off”. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, and Fio gave me great service. I highly recommend getting glasses at Warby Parker!

Staff are really helpful overall and the selection is great. However, according to their own customer service, they don't have access to what's actually in stock. I ordered sunglasses in store, picked out lenses, and all. Only when I contacted support did I realize that they were out of stock and they don't know if they'll make them again, which wasted my time.

I've been getting frames and lenses here for a few years, and the folks who work at this store are the best.
