Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $35)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

Wary Parker has a fantastic selection of high quality frames and my sales associate found me the perfect, flattering style for me. He was very honest about some of the ones that I had chosen and then came up with a perfect pair after seeing the style I was attracted to. I can’t recommend Warby Parker at Shops At Briargate enough.

Very happy with this store. A much better experience than the everyday vision store. The prices aren’t so high that your insurance doesn’t cover a huge majority of. Comes with all the upgrades you would want on your lenses at really affordable prices. The staff are what made it a 5 star experience though. They actually helped us truly select our frames. I’ve never experienced this before. They knew how certain face shapes would look good on certain frames, knew the extra colors each style had off the top of their heads. They would joke and have fun with each other at the store all the while helping each other and the customers. I was a general manager of a nationwide furniture store and this vision store had all the things I would look for in good staff synergy, product knowledge, and customer service. In my current career I strive to build my practice as a referable business just as my Warby Parker experience today.

Our family visited the store today due to discovering our insurance (UHC) had an established relationship with Warby Parker for some amazing prices. We were further impressed in store by the staff members. All three staff members working this afternoon helped our family purchase three pairs of prescription eyeglasses. They were patient and knowledgeable as they brought us frames and provided suggestions. All three displayed excellent customer service. We’ve been to a handful of eyeglass stores over the past year, and this was the most positive experience we’ve had. I highly recommend this store!

I went with my partner to look at some frames she had picked online. The associate who helped us was wonderful and addressed things that my partner had never been spoken to about in the 58 years she has been wearing glasses. This was the best experience we have ever had. This is the place to get glasses for sure. You can believe in that number of years we have experienced a lot and paid much more.

I actually live closer to another Warby Parker store but drive further to this location. All Warby’s are great, don’t get me wrong, but I like the layout of the Briargate store, it is spacious and bright. The main reason I go there though is because the associates are fantastic, helpful and knowledgeable. Not a lot of turnover it seems which is always a good sign that the store is managed well.

I may be the outlier here, but my experience wasn't good. In fact, I was never able to get in the door. I made appointments online on different days of course. On both occasions, I received emails telling my that everything was good to go. However, on both occasions, the next day I got emails telling me that the appointments were canceled with no explanation. I would have given it zero stars, but it wouldn't allow me to post it without at least one star.
