Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

Love it here. These are my 2nd pair of glasses from Warby Parker and 10/10 recommend. I use to work for the eye doctor inside of Lenscrafters, and I will 100% admit they are a scam with their prices. My first pair with Warby Parker have lasted me 2 years without any issues. Staff is always so nice too! Added plus.

My wife and I love our new frames! Very affordable and they look amazing. The staff was very accommodating at this location. We went on a Tuesday and by Friday we received our new glasses mailed to our home! They didn't accept VSP but they filed a claim on behalf of both of us which covered almost all of the expense. Will definitely be going back here again soon!

Very friendly and knowledgeable about my needs. I took my time and was not made to feel rushed. In the end I got a nice upgrade on my eyeglasses that should take care of me for at least 5-6 years. I'm extremely satisfied. Katie was the associate who took care of me. She was so very helpful and patient with me. Thank you Katie!

Warning: When you book an eye exam Warby Parker quotes you one price but it’s an independent contractor. They don’t inform you it’s about $50 more until you’re in the seat. Clearly not the transparency Warby Parker advertises its customers.

Not transparent - website says $140 for contact lens exam, but the cost was over 2x that ($330) - I should have checked before going in, it has an * saying prices might vary and I should have checked but I figured the prices were maybe 10-15% in that range, not 2x. I am tired of the games eye glass places play with prices, I thought this places whole business model was transparency and no games but first the exam price then even buying glasses has all of the bait and switch BS of every other place - prices are supposedly $95 online but its $400 for an actual glasses. Never going back

Katie in the West Farms (CT) store provided exceptional customer service. She was friendly and helpful. She informed me of all the lens and insurance coverage options. She also had great follow-up. She had not only promised to call me the next day to collect some information I did not have on me at the time, but also gave me her contact information in case I needed to reach her. She called me at exactly the time she said she would and we were able to complete my order - prescription sunglasses and eyeglasses. I really value and appreciate this level of customer service and professionalism. I am a satisfied, returning customer because of the style options, quality frames and affordable prices. I am also happy to be able to use my FSA card. This was my second order with Warby Parker and I highly recommend them.
