Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
The well-known portion of an eye exam where you read from a chart of progressively shrinking letters until they're too small to see
The part of the exam that determines your prescription for corrective lenses (if you need them)
A screening for issues like glaucoma and cataracts, and for signs of other health conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, and more

Insurance, FSA, and HSA
Whether we’re in- or out-of-network with your carrier, you can use vision insurance to save at Warby Parker . (We accept FSA and HSA, too!)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

Very Upset with product quality and Customer Service.
Very upset with the customer service. I paid and place an order on 09/23/2025 for glasses with prescription. It took 3 weeks to get the glasses made not according to the order-prescription. They replaced them and the replacement was faulty. I request a refund. Finally after long time on the phone agent Roxi, I returned the glasses for refund. As of today 02/26/2025 no refund is made. Another agent Ari promissed to refund today. This company do not deserve even one star.

I have been a regular at the Georgetown Location and I have got to say it has been the most enjoyable experience I’ve ever had getting glasses. Staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, great insight on what frames would compliment my face shape. Quick and easy, always in and out.
Last but not least shout out to how wonderful and patient Zakiya, Lisa and Anna were on coaching me on contact application. Truly a one of a kind and lovely experience. Will be going back again!

Absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, the experience was exceptional from start to finish.
Dr. Erika was so attentive and kind throughout the whole exam. You can tell she actually cares and isn’t just rushing you through.

While in town, I stopped by Warby Parker and had an excellent experience. I had a chance to get some blue light glasses( Clarissa), and Shadae, was very knowledgeable, didn’t try to rush me, or make me feel like I’m asking too many questions. She also showed me, other options, and educated me on a few facts about glasses, that I didn’t know about. I’m surprised she isn’t an optometrist or optician. I would definitely return, because nowadays, great customer service is hard to come by.

This location was great. Staff we friendly, quick, and super helpful. The eye doctor was also great. She was on time, very efficient in getting the exam done but also took the time to answer my questions and help me understand what she was doing and why. I definitely recommend stopping in here if you need an eye exam and/or new glasses.

My son who is 22yrs old made an appt two weeks ago to visit the location on M Street in Georgetown. We have been patronising Warby & Parker for 4 yrs visiting the different locations throughout DC & MD. This was our first time going to this location. My son appt was for 2:15; he arrived exactly at 2:15pm. He did not know the name of the vision plan and to be honest I didn’t know the name either (we don’t have actual cards). My son came out to the car as I was parking asking for the name of the plan, I thought I would be able to assist since his plan is under me and we have the same plan. I went into the store and was proceeding to give my information to the person checking in my son I notice my name on the pad (iPad/electronic device) she had in her hand. I told her that was me and if she was able to pull up my information to obtain the name of the plan. There was an older women who intervened in the conversation and said “she would need to find out from the doctor to see if my son would be able to be seen because there is a”FIVE MINUTE” grace period. I informed her he was not late we are getting him checked in, the lady step away came back with in seconds and said the doctor would not be able to see him and he would need to reschedule. Because my son did not look like a preppy or there typical young men who visits that location they (to me) racially profiled my son! They were not trying to assist or help, they even told my son he would have to pay a $95 fee to be see on top of other fees (which I was not worried about) he has insurance and I have FSA. But the way we were treated I will NEVER, I mean NEVER give this brand my business again and would not recommend this store to anyone else!
