Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

Highly Recommend!!! Angela was wonderful from our initial visit to inquire if they took my insurance. Although my insurance was out of network, I still chose to come here for my eye exam and the wide selection of frames, they really have something for everybody! Angela walked me through the process, took the time to answer all my questions, and went around the store hand selecting options for me. I'm so excited about my new glasses!! They even helped me file a claim with my insurance for out of network coverage, I didn't expect or anticipate that. Warby Parker surpassed my expectations!!

Great experience compared to brick and mortar eye doctors. Very fast appointment for eye exam (glasses only) and staff was super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Loved how much Ashley hyped me up as I was trying on glasses and that the staff picked out glasses specifically for me. Ashley was honest about what really suited me and what didn’t. As a single guy, that is helpful! They have the best selections that suit my style compared to other brick and mortar eye docs.
They seem to use newer tech as well. Much better experience than getting air blown into my eye. I did meet with a doctor virtually, but the assistant Ashley was in the room the whole time. Meeting with the doctor virtually did feel somewhat cold and distant (duh) but it was quick and efficient. No unnecessary small talk. I feel somewhat indifferent about it. It just felt like a formality. Sometimes it feels that way with in-person doctors as well.
Staff filled out the out of network paperwork for me and submitted, which was nice.
The only critique I really have is I wasn’t told the extractive transition lenses have a subtle tint when not in light, vs regular transition lenses which turn clear in light. I don’t want a tint on my glasses all the time, even if subtle. So I ended up having to modify my order via phone when I got home after doing more research.

Had a great experience there buying a new pair of glasses. Associates were helpful but allowed me the space and time to browse on my own and try several options. They did not pressure me to make a decision nor pressure me to add additional features I did not want. The associates were courteous and helpful. The shopping and checkout processes were very easy and the store was clean and well-kept. The hardest part of the experience was picking out the right pair! Would definitely recommend.

My first time at warby parker. Made an online appointment and filled out the intake paperwork... super easy. Was greeted by the friendliest staff upon my arrival. Ashley got me into my virtual eye appointment and it is the coolest thing. The high tech equipment they use is worth the experience. Met with the doctor virtually and had a great interaction. Ashley passed me off to Elizabeth who could not have been any nicer or helpful. She got me processed through the eyeglass selection and filled out my reimbursement for insurance claim. I can't wait until I receive my glasses. One of the best service oriented experiences I have had. Great company!

The staff here are amazing! Came as a walk-in for an eye exam while my wife was shopping and got right in. The exam uses the latest tech for tests and imaging. The technician was super friendly and helpful. When I finished, they had already curated some style selections, and made me feel at home as I tried on glasses I found around the store. I've always bought my glasses online for the value, but this was a treat. Warby Parker has hit a home run with their in-house styles, online business, and now brick and mortar stores! Ultimately I couldn't decide on which pair, so I came home and continued shopping online. They had already uploaded my prescription so I'm ready to go. Super cool setup... I highly recommend and will be back!

Super friendly, helpful team! I ordered my glasses online and needed help measuring my Pupil Distance. They ended up measuring a few times to make sure it would be perfect and explained to me how it works. We re-did my order and they helped me make informed decisions. My old glasses broke while I was in the store and they were so kind to fix them. 10/10 recommend visiting the store.

Horrible customer service. We walked in stood there for 5 minutes and no one acknowledged our existence. 3 people were working there was only one customer. We left. Will not return or recommend anyone else to go there.

I've been a Warby Parker fan for a very long time. I was so happy to finally learn that they opened an office in Gainesville. I went because I needed a second opinion regarding my prescription, and the blurriness that I was experiencing in my sight. The scheduling was very easy, efficient, convenient, the staff was kind, and the doctor very excellent and patient. I really liked my care and I love that they are making glasses affordable for all. :)

The service I received at Warby Parker was excellent! Choosing frames was so hard because there are so many good choices, I felt the individual helping me took into consideration the type of lens I needed (progressives) and my facial features to help me select the best pair. The technician was also extremely friendly when measuring PD and other factors to customize my frame. She asked me about my needs with the progressive to make sure the lens is aligned with what I need. I highly recommend WP!

I went in and couldn't access my favorites on my phone. The 2 staff working found both frames just based on description of what I was looking at online. They were knowledgeable in the products available and answered every question about lenses, insurance and provided me with a detailed breakdown of pricing for everything.
