Introduction
Dr. Monica Miles is a state-license optometrist who graduated from the New England College of Optometry (NECO) in 2018. Dr. Miles uses cutting-edge technology and clinical expertise to perform a comprehensive eye health exam —prescribing eyeglasses, fitting contact lenses, evaluating eye health, and more for patients ages 4 and up.

Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

Highly recommend Warby Parker! Went into this store in January & they helped me find a new pair with an updated prescription. Flash forward to May, I lost my new glasses. I called WP and asked if I could repurchase the same pair & get expedited shipping, as I needed the glasses asap. Their customer service team was super friendly, and while they told me there was a $25 fee for expedited shipping - they then gave me $20 off for reordering the same pair so quickly after. They also quoted a 10 day turnaround for the expedited shipping (still faster than my local eye dr could get me a new pair)… and then they showed up at my door two days later!! Such a great experience from fitting, to wearing, and then repurchasing! This was my second prescription glasses from WP, and I’ll continue to purchase new glasses from them as needed! Highly recommend!

I was so glad when Warby Parker opened at the south end of the beach. I went yesterday to buy my fourth pair of Warby Parkers! The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly, but no pressure. Lorelei listened to what I preferred and showed me several options. I ended up selecting one that she had found and I'm looking forward to wearing them.

The customer service at this location was exceptional! I purchased a pair of frames a few weeks ago, and after wearing them for a while, began having headaches due to the frames being much heavier than ones I had wore in the past. Had such a great experience today! Stopped in about 20 minutes before another appt in the same plaza, and left with ordering a beautiful new pair of glasses for an incredible price. I’ve neglected buying new glasses for years because I prioritize having contacts and the tend to be too expensive at traditional optometrists.
