Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I have shopped at Warby Parker since before they had stores. This particular store has a wonderful class of employees who are helpful and encouraging while trying on new frames. For my most recent visit, my wife and three year old son came along.
The team helped entertain my son by letting him try on cute kid’s frames and gave him stickers and a little bag and pencil. That level of friendliness will always have my business as well as keep me recommending the store.

Had a really great experience here with both the exam and picking out glasses. My young daughter and I needed exams and new glasses - I needed to bring my other children as well and the entire staff was extremely family friendly, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable even with young kids. I would highly reccomend!

Excellent customer service at this location. I had a problem with a new pair of glasses and was expecting to have to push to get what I wanted. Not here! Kim listened to my issues and immediately told me to pick another frame as the one I had wasn’t working for me. She helped me pick out a frame that fit my face, took the pair that wasn’t right for me and just like that I am one happy customer. Cannot recommend this location more highly!

I'd give a zero if We could. You are not able to speak with the store directly. You have to go to somewhere oversees, try to explain over and over. They are rediculous! Never do business with this company. They put my prescription on my husbands order. So of course the insurance denied it. Try to explain that ... Lost in translation. They kept asking me for a copy of the prescription. Duh, they put my prescription with my name in his account. Probably could have been corrected by a simple phone call directly to the store. But no. Total Bull

I booked an eye exam appointment for 11:05 AM, but the confirmation text from Warby Parker sent me the wrong store address. This caused me to arrive about 10 minutes late, only to be told they couldn’t accommodate me and refused to see me at all.
This highlights a bigger issue with commercial eyewear chains like Warby Parker: the staff often seem disconnected and indifferent. Appointments feel rushed due to pressure for higher sales volume and upsells, leaving little time for genuine patient care. It seems geared toward new graduates or high-turnover roles, prioritizing transactions over quality service.
When I returned later just to cancel the appointment in person, the response was a casual “OK, have a good day”—no apology, no effort to resolve the issue or reschedule. It felt like poor training and zero accountability.
I strongly recommend avoiding Warby Parker and opting for an independent, non-commercialized optometrist instead. You’ll likely get more personalized, caring service without the corporate rush
