Comprehensive exams starting at $85
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $35)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I was pleasantly surprised by the availability of Sunday afternoon appointments for examinations, which is exceptionally convenient for working professionals. My wait time was minimal. Dr. Adam Roth provided an outstanding and comprehensive examination. He attentively addressed my concerns regarding my previous prescription from another office and my current visual needs. The prescription I received has provided me with the best vision I've experienced in years. The staff demonstrated exceptional friendliness and expertise. While the selection of frames was somewhat limited, I did not purchase a pair of glasses. Nevertheless, I am pleased to give five stars for such a positive visit!

Went today for an exam and new Rx glasses. The exam was a virtual exam with a brief video chat with the doctor that reviewed the test results; eh? I would prefer to see a doc face-to-face; BUT following the exam when my wife and I were shopping for new glasses for the new prescription, we were assisted by Jonathan and Charity and as myuch of a cynic as I can be... they were WONDERFUL!!!!! We've been accoustomed to buying our glasses at Costo (which is great) the two reps we dealt with this afternoon make us ready to enjoy our new glasses and look forward to returning to Warby Parker next year!

While I see tons of positive reviews, here is my experience. The eye exam process was smooth and straight forward. I found glass frames I like and had them ordered. Ten days later they showed which was fine. The left lens installation seems to be a little off, but not a huge deal. They can look at it when I go in for the contacts fitting.
It has been 3 weeks with no word from anyone on my contacts. I call the local # listed on the UTC Warby Parker webpage that routes you to a call center. I was told they cannot give me the number or the email address to the local store and my contacts sample pack (for fitting) was never ordered. She offered to email the store at UTC on my behalf with my phone number. She then says the might call me, but I really need to go back to the store. This is unacceptable in my eyes. I'm taking my exam results and ordering contacts somewhere else.

Very happy with Warby Parker's products & service, esp with the customer service offered by Cindy who IMHO is always the most knowledgeable & professional in the store. I have purchased many frames over the years, and those from WP I feel are the best fit and the best quality of them all. My only wish is that there were more seating in the store, esp for folks like me who cannot stand for long periods of time.

Fabulous staff and selection! My eye exam with insurance was only $20. My eye glasses, complete with progressive lenses and darkening ability were just $200 with insurance- an incredible deal. I sent my hubby here and he was equally impressed.
