Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I had excellent experience and bad experience with Warby. I order two paires of glasses in the online store, one is progressive and the other is computer glasses. The computer glasses is unusable.
The two online store support persons I spoke to were not well trained. One right out of box told me I need to go to my eye doctor to get my eye re-examined. I told her my prescription was three weeks ago and I do not have any issue with the progressive glasses. I only have issues with the computer glasses. She did not even told me that I can go to a local Warby store to get my eye examined. Those online store personals should get 1 or 2 stars.
When I came to the Wiregrass Warby store, optician Chloe talked to me and within three minutes she found out the computer glasses were made with a reading glass spec. Warby online store somehow extracted the spec incorrectly from my prescription. She made me feel validated and she patiently answered all my questions and resolved all my issues. I felt my trust and confidence with Warby restored and reassured. Chloe is a five star employee.
Moral of the story is: Go to the local stores, you have a better trained and qualified employees. Forget about the online store for support, the employees there are not qualified and/or poorly trained.

I received excellent customer service fron the entire team. I scheduled a same day appointment without any problems. The doctor was very knowledgeable and held a great rapport during my exam. I paid out of pocket for an exam and the price was very reasonable. I approve this location in Wesley Chapel, FL.

Drove to this location several weeks ago from Lkld. and would not hesitate to do it again in the future. Unlike other places like M.E.D. that constantly try to upsell you things that you may not need, these guys spent time helping us out w/o feeling like we were being rushed. Hats off to Chloe, Lauren and especially Michelle Espanto who performed my eye exam while my wife was shopping for glasses even though I didnt have an appointment. Kudos to all 3 of them.

Dr. Meyer is a fantastic optometrist and was very knowledgeable in his craft. He clearly explained pros and cons of options, such as Lasik and contacts, as well as made sure that my vision is properly adjusted to get clear vision that I have not had in years. Highly recommended!
