I rarely take the time to write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my recent experience. Before I get into the details, a bit of background: I’m a longtime fan of Warby Parker. I lived in NYC for many years and was always impressed with the exceptional customer service—especially at the SoHo location. The staff there consistently went above and beyond to help me find the perfect pair of glasses or even a new case. Over the years, I’ve purchased numerous pairs for myself, my daughters, my parents, and my husband. Warby Parker has always been my go-to.
Now that I live in Florida, I’ve visited this particular Warby Parker location several times over the past three years—and unfortunately, the customer service has been consistently disappointing. The staff often seem untrained, unhelpful, and unwilling to provide even basic assistance.
Most recently, I visited during my lunch break, hoping that a quieter time might mean a better experience. I planned to purchase four pairs of glasses—two for my daughter, one for myself, and one for my husband. Sadly, once again, I was met with indifference. The two women working on 7/10 seemed completely disinterested in helping. When I asked one of them if I could use my insurance to purchase sunglasses, she simply replied, “I don’t know,” and stared at me blankly—no follow-up questions, no offer to find out, no interest in assisting further. It felt like I was speaking to someone who didn’t want to be there.
This kind of service is unacceptable—especially for a brand that has built such a strong reputation elsewhere. It’s disheartening to see such a stark contrast between locations. I truly hope this feedback reaches someone who can address the issues at this store, as they do not reflect the Warby Parker standard I’ve known and trusted for years.
