Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I took my prescription from Thomas Eye group to Warby Parker.
Never again will I use Warby Parker for eye wear. I paid over $300 for the glasses and ten days later, I still dont have my glasses. I called cutomer service, but they could not locate my order. I just want my money back.
I should have used Thomas Eye group.

This place is amazing, the best customer experience of my fairly long life, I wish there was a way to give them more stars.
When I visited the Perimeter Mall store, I was warmly greater by a employee (I wish I could remember her name to give her kudos). It was a very friendly interaction without any pressure. I was invite to check out all the frames on my own and ask for help if needed. I took me maybe 20 minutes to find the frames I liked best (they had several great options to choose from) and she was complimentary of my choice and explained why it was a good option for my sight needs and shape of face.
I gave her my prescription from my optometrist, she took a few measurements and that was it. She walked me through a few add-on options but explained they weren't necessary for my situation. So nice to actually be helped instead of hearing a pressure-packed upsell pitch for something I obviously don't need. Was told it could take up to two weeks to receive my glasses but explained it probably wouldn't take that long. The glasses arrived four days later. They look great, feel strong, lens were perfectly crafted and the case they came with is top notch.
I GOT ALL OF THIS, GREAT GLASSES AND EXPERIENCE FOR $95 (with tax). I am never getting glasses anywhere else!!!

This is a modification to my original review based on the subsequent experience I've had with obtaining contacts. First, the positive (5 stars): the staff there in the Perimeter Mall store were highly professional and attentive. The Optometrist, Dr. Lee was very, very thorough in conducting my eye exam and devising a two-part game plan for my new contact lenses prescription. The Negative (1 star) - my experience obtaining new contact lenses. I am highly displeased and frustrated with their process. With the trial set that was ordered, although the order was visible in my portal, it did not provide an accurate update on the status of my order ("In Progress" and never changed). NOTE: You cannot contact this store directly. I submitted a request via chat and phone call. The customer service promised to provide an update within 24 hours - that never happened. I subsequently called back a day later and the customer service rep did follow up on the status which had not changed - "In Progress". After waiting several days, I decided to go into the office to find out the status of my order. To my dismay, the lenses had been delivered. The lenses were not satisfactory so Dr. Lee had to adjust the prescription and order new lenses. To date, I do not know the status of my order. Based on my experience, I do not see utilizing them in the future.

I've purchased numerous pair of glasses and Rx sunglasses from Warby Parker in the past, but never again. I have an older pair of Rx sunglasses that I'm trying to bring up to date, but Warby Parker is refusing to assist, aside from charging $165 for new Rx sunglass lenses. They will not let me pay $65 for regular lenses. Do NOT get an eye exam or purchase glasses from Warby Parker.
