Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.

Insurance, FSA, and HSA
Whether we’re in- or out-of-network with your carrier, you can use vision insurance to save at Warby Parker . (We accept FSA and HSA, too!)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I went into this store , tried on some glasses and found a couple pair I wanted to purchase and add my prescription. However, I couldn’t really decide at the time and the lady said no rush we’ll create you an account and you can come back tomorrow if need be. I said ok great! I went back the next day and she was not there. However, the two ladies that “assisted me” (one younger and one older) told me that I had to have a written prescription from my doctor with an expiration date. I found this to be so odd because this was not mentioned the day before. The only thing we discussed in depth was insurance. Nevertheless, the older lady goes on and on to tell me that they’re unable to put my prescription in the glasses because of this and that and because their state regulated. Now, what got me was that I asked her about online and she said the glasses will be on hold until that prescription is sent in from my doctor. Later that evening, I went online ordered the glasses with no problem and received a confirmation today saying part of the order has shipped. Might I add, it doesn’t not say indicate any of this on their website or terms and agreements. I personally think the lady didn’t want to assist me because it was close to their closing time and they had multiple customers. However, I was ready to go, the account had been created, glasses uploaded, and I had my prescription. The other customers were just trying on. I wanted to press the issue, but I was there for a trip and wanted to enjoy the rest of my night. Because of this experience, I probably won’t go inside this store ever again and it’s all the further more reason why I shop at EYEBUYDIRECT! There’s more to choose from on there along with name brand glasses and sunglasses.

Friendly staff & Clean store! Lots of frames to choose from! All frames came with 30 day guarantee or return for another pair! Standard lenses also come with UV protection, scratch resistance, and anti glare! Will definitely be back!

I brought in two Pairs of newly purchased Warbys to get adjusted and Erik was incredibly quick, patient, and did a phenomenal job to ensure the fit and my satisfaction with the product. Then I asked him to adjust a pair of Ray Bans that I’ve had for over three years. Out of the box they have been un-wearable. After 3 different ray ban stores turned me away, Erik whipped them into shape. For the first time I’ve been able to wear them without feeling dizzy. 10/10 experience!

Five Stars for Warby Parker at Ponce City Market. I had to find a new eye doctor because my previous eye doctor dropped United Insurance. Since I receive United Insurance through my husband's employer, I searched for a new eye doctor that used United. When I showed up for my first appointment at Warby Parker, one of the staff members spent an entire hour on the phone trying to find access to my eye benefits. It was extremely difficult for this front desk professional who deals with insurance companies all day long to decipher United's circuitous pathway for Warby Parker to access my benefits. I was left with the impression that United would have preferred that Warby Parker not find the proper, multifaceted, labrynthian pathway to my benefits so that I would have simply become frustrated and paid out of pocket. Obviously I had to reschedule the actual exam appointment. Even today, when I showed up for my new appointment, confirming coverage with United took several staff members. They were working patiently, expertly, and very hard. The problem was United Insurance, not Warby Parker. The nice people at Warby Parker worked through the gauntlet, they were able to confirm and apply my benefits, and I was able to leave with a prescription for new glasses that will be mailed to me within 14 days. The staff was incredible. I had picked out a frame that ultimately wouldn’t have worked great for my high prescription and the staff did an amazing job of leading me in the right direction and explaining this to me. I ended up picking out 2 frames that I am now very excited about and work out best for my vision. Included the pics I sent to my mom for approval - she loved them!

I got my first progressive lens prescription filled at this location. Everyone one I interacted with at the store was immensely helpful, kind and professional. From the initial visit to pick my frames and talk with the optician about my fit and prescription to the pick up. Quintessential professional. You leave feeling like they really care. Can't say this for most businesses nowadays. Whatever you are doing, keep it up because it is working.
