Introduction
Dr. Reneta Simeon is a state-licensed optometrist who graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry (ICO) in 2024. Specializing in primary care optometry, Dr. Simeon uses cutting-edge technology and clinical expertise to perform a comprehensive eye health exam—prescribing eyeglasses, fitting contact lenses, evaluating eye health, and more for patients ages 4 and up.

Comprehensive exams starting at $85
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $35)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

Below average customer service. Needed my warby parker glasses adjusted (usually takes just a few minutes). Workers never offered to help just said they were busy with other customers. I stood there for 10 minutes then just left. Will look to buy my next pair of glasses at LensCrafters next time.

I was not planning to visit today. I arrived at a neighboring restaurant early before meeting a client. I walked into the store with only a few minutes and just needed to pick out new frames to take to my ophthalmologist...I wanted to avoid spending an arm and a leg on frames. I walked out just a few minutes later with a $95 frame order having been placed. I think I was in the store for all of 5 minutes. The organization of the store was helpful, the friendly staff was knowledgeable and made the decision really very easy. Great experience. I will go back next time.

I’ve used this location multiple times and they’ve always been great. The staff is friendly all around, they get in for appointments on time and there’s no pushy sales people or tactics which is a big point for me. They don’t work with Blue Cross insurance which is what I carry but oh well, I’ll just have to go through a reimbursement. This is my go to spot for eye care.

My partner and I came in today to get glasses and sunglasses. We were quickly greeted by Sydd, who was truly excellent throughout the entire process. They were so helpful in understanding the process and options available, and ready to offer feedback and encouragement if requested.
It was really busy inside and only two employees were working, so it was clearly understaffed, but Sydd was a real rockstar and could have taught an expert class in juggling intake/refittings/checkouts/questions/lens replacements/new eye appointments (all happening in the time we were there). They made the experience so much nicer 🥰 thank youuuuuuuuu!

I went to Warby Parker on Armitage Ave. to get a new pair of glasses. I spent about $250 on a pair of frames and lenses. The staff was friendly, but the whole experience felt rushed. I didn't get the personal attention I expected, and the fitting wasn't great. The glasses didn't feel comfortable, and I had to go back for adjustments. Overall, not the quality service I was hoping for.

UPDATE: Sub-par service and overall customer experience.
I bought a pair of $450 glasses with progressive lenses in 2023 at the Armitage store. The frame hinge broke because it was made out of plastic. I brought the glasses in for service and was told that the glasses were no longer under warranty and the frame had been discontinued. My biggest issue is that the store manager offered no alternatives or suggestions rendering my expensive glasses worthless in less than two years. Buyer beware.
I took the advice noted in the response and followed up with Warby Parker Customer Service. The customer service agent responded by telling me that the solution is to buy another pair of $450 glasses. Surprisingly, they also explained that they had only a 30 warranty on frames. A quality pair of $450 glasses should have a warranty greater than 30 days.

At the Optometrist, we have been quoted $450 for glasses, with insurance covering $300. Here For the same price, we had a better selection and friendlier service- In a nicer environment!

Ridiculous! Ordered a pair of specs from WP's Armitage store on 12.31.24. Paid nearly $400 and was told to expect them by Jan 15. When I followed up by phone on Jan 17, I was told that my order hadn't been processed because there was a $4 balance due. That's right: four bucks on a $400 purchase. No one had reached out to me by phone, email or text so who knows how long I might have waited.
i canceled my order. I'll take my business elsewhere.

Firstly, the staff on the floor and at the front desk are beyond amazing, and are always so incredibly friendly and helpful!
I've been seeing Dr. Sidhu for years for my exams, and he was wonderful, but their new optometrist Dr. Lootens has the worst beside manner I've ever experienced.
She didn't even bother to introduce herself or ask me how I was, how my day was going, etc.; right off the bat she told me I was supposed to bring a box of contacts with me, (which I've never had to do) or else she'd have to spend 20 min. looking up my information (I'm sorry, what? warby orders are right in my account?), and then spoke to me like I was supposed to know that already; she kept trying to push dilation on me without explaining what it was, even though no other Warby optometrist has mentioned this was necessary; and overall spoke to me like I was a huge bother to her.
As a brand new patient, you'd think she'd make an effort to be kind and ask a few basic questions, to make people comfortable, etc., just the bare minimum?
I even tried to make a joke to see if she would warm up and she tried to argue with me, so I literally had to say, "that was just a joke", "I'm joking". I've never had such an incredibly unfriendly doctor at a Warby location, and I've been going to you guys since 2012! I don't know if this is just her personality or if she was having a bad day, but I will definitely not go back to her.

I live in Hawaii and we don’t have access to the variety of frames. On a recent visit l went to WP and l was like a kid in a candy store!! I can’t wear contacts do having more than two pairs of glasses is a real treat for me.
I ended up purchasing 6 pairs of glasses ( one pair for close up stitching) the rest a wardrobe of beautiful fun frames. Please come to Hawaii!!
