Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

The optometrist here is a legend! That’s where it ends. You are quoted a price in store, pay and then a week later, when you realize you don’t have your contacts, yet, find out they applied your insurance incorrectly in the store and you have to pay an additional fee due to their mistake if you want your contacts. Get your eye exam here and then get out and get your glasses and contacts somewhere, anywhere else!

The Naperville Warby Parker location is by far the best. The optometrist is skilled, professional and takes the time to explain everything. Kieran went above and beyond when I came in regarding a complex exchange situation. With complexities involving an insurance claim made the year prior, a changing prescription to include new prism lenses, and the desire to no longer include the blue light tint and to switch the frames to ones that suited me better, she expertly navigated every one of these details. Then, when it came time to pick out the new lenses, she offered clear guidance on which lenses best fit my face shape and the overall “vibe” I was after. Overall, the visit exceeded my expectations due to Kieran’s meticulous attention to detail paired with her laid back and friendly demeanor. Kelly, the manager, was also very helpful and friendly. I look forward to filling my next prescription at the Warby Parker in downtown Naperville!

The gal that did our eye exams was super kind. We didn’t like their frames so we ordered from our usual website. Unfortunately my prescription is off. I’m getting headaches and have scheduled an eye exam else where. I called and asked and they told me it all matched up…both of my axis numbers changed by over 100. They keep emailing me that they auto set up appointments for next year. I have emailed back four times and they still won’t cancel the appointments. I don’t have a work schedule that allows for that type of scheduling hence why I declined in store. This has been a giant waste of time and money from the beginning. Enjoy the no show appts bc it did the same for my husband. I’m not wasting more time dealing with this company. Save your money, I’ll be heading back to Costco and reorder on Zenni.

We've ordered prescription glasses for my sister from here twice, although the second one was delayed a week in shipping. I decided to also try them out for my new prescription glasses. I placed an order at the store and was told it would be shipped within 2 weeks. I waited over 2 weeks, no email, no updates, no tracking. I emailed them, no answer, then I called, and glad I did. Im told there is a mismatch in prescription and the glasses, which I have no idea how that would happen, as the associate took a picture of my prescription when placing the order. So this put the order on hold, and I was not contacted to get this confirmed and processed for some reason. This is terrible customer service, and these glasses are not cheap. Now i won't have the glasses in time for my trip, and i'll have to use contacts. I wouldn't order from Warby Parker again.
