Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I’ve been going to the Warby Parker store at Woodfield Mall since it opened, and the service has been outstanding from day one. Manish has been a tremendous help to my family and me over the years. He is always proactive, genuinely cares about his customers, and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of.
Whether it’s helping select frames, answering questions, or quickly resolving an issue, Manish handles everything with professionalism and a positive attitude. It’s rare to find someone who consistently delivers such a high level of customer service.
One recent experience really stood out. Our 13-year-old daughter was finally able to start wearing contacts, and she was absolutely thrilled. Manish was just as excited for her as we were. He took the time to make her feel comfortable and confident, and his genuine happiness for her made the moment even more special for our family.
The entire team is friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming, which makes every visit a great experience. It’s clear that Manish sets the tone for the store and has built a team that truly cares about its customers.

Had a very positive experience. I have never been to a Warby Parker store. I decided to give them a try and glad I did. I was helped by associate Jasmine. She was extremely helpful, polite and took the time to show me several frames and explain to me how they looked and lined up on my face. She made several valid points in regards to the lens shape and type of vision correction I needed in the lenses. I don’t have my glasses yet, because they have to be made but I will certainly post a follow up review. I would also add they have a 30 day return policy as well. I would certainly give the store a shot if you’re in the market for new glasses or contacts.

The staff wasn’t kind to me the last time I went in for my eye exam that they scheduled too early for my insurance that they couldn’t find for a while and the woman helping me was continuously complaining about the technology and making me feel like she didn’t want me there at all. On top of that the glasses are poorly made for the price, I had to go in every few weeks to get them tightened.

Doctor Leonard was absolutely amazing! Everyone was super friendly and patient. They even taught me how to put & use contact lenses and were very very patient, and let me trial contacts to get used to it before my real ones arrive. The retinal imaging was really nice to see and know that my eyes are healthy. I also needed prescription for VR headset and I'm certain its on point first try, Leonard checked many times before finalizing the prescription. Genuinely thank you so much!
