Comprehensive exams starting at $85
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $35)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

You get more than you expect if you commit to this brand. I love Warby Parker. The Lakeside store has some great employees, particularly Melissa and the adorable super-pro guy who adjusted the glasses I fell asleep wearing and bent so badly they can't be fixed without risking destruction. (Yeah, I forgot his name.) He was so careful, so honest, didn't hint at judging me, and in the end I left with my glasses fixed, and swapped out the lenses to a pair that will probably serve me better. This is a long way of saying Warby Parker's policies of care are solid, and the team they hire is nothing short of fabulous. Pay them more, they're worth it!! You won't be sorry if you buy your glasses there.

This was my first time purchasing glasses from a retail store. I had a few issues to consider: bifocal, farsighted, eyeglasses vs sunglasses. The salesperson was very attentive to my needs. He was able to ask a few clarifying questions regarding style preference and usage and we proceeded to selection. Within 3 options eventually provided, I was able to select what I needed on the 2nd choice. Once the fitting was done, he explained pricing, which was surprisingly affordable and he applied insurance and/or discounts when possible. The process was straight-forward and easy to understand from purchase to final delivery. I highly recommend their service.

I love Warby Parker. I've been shopping at the Lakeside location for the last several years. The reps are always friendly, knowledgeable, and super helpful. I love that I can pick my glasses from a large selection of stylish frames, choose my lens options, and then pay for everything within 30 minutes or less. I just purchased 2 frames with bells and whistles for $200 less than a designer pair I picked up a couple of years back.

Checkout process is easy and fast. $145 for prescription frames with blue light protection before insurance reimbursement.
