Introduction
Dr. Nikita Merritt graduated from the New England College of Optometry (NECO) in 2018. In addition to her optometry degree, she completed a residency at the University of Virginia and specialized in ocular disease and specialty contact lenses. Dr. Merritt is proud to be a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO). In her downtime, Dr. Merritt enjoys running, traveling with her family, and going to Boston sport games.

New England College of Optometry (NECO)
Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

She told me I had cadoracks and still let me order 600 dollars on glasses and when I got an appointment with the eye surgeon and found out that I would not need glasses after surgery I want my money back she should have told me this before I spent my money!!!

I had to go to the Warby Parker Store at Derby shop 4 times. Once it was too crowded and nobody could help me and twice there was no optician on duty either at lunch or out. My fourth trip was successful but they could not fulfill my prescription because of a prescription error. I have a call into my opthalmologist to see what is wrong with the prescription

I love Warby Parker and wouldn’t go anywhere else in search of eyewear. The experience is quick and perfect! I have always been immediately approached by an associate and guided through the selections. They are very knowledgeable and personable. Today I bought a pair of reading glasses and one for distance and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes…… I loved my last frames so I repeated my choices with stronger scripts. The best part was the price. Both for only $170.00. Check them out.

My experience at the Derby Street Warby Parker location has been exceptional.
During my first visit, Julie and Arisa provided outstanding service as they helped me navigate the challenge of rapidly changing vision caused by a chemotherapy medication. They patiently guided me through selecting new frames and worked together to expedite my glasses so I could see clearly as soon as possible. They also helped me find both prescription glasses and sunglasses that fit my needs and my budget. I can’t say enough about their knowledge, compassion, teamwork, and professionalism.
When my vision changed again, I returned to the store and was fortunate to work with Chantelle and Chris. They were equally knowledgeable, caring, and committed to finding the best solution for my changing eyesight. Once again, I felt supported and confident that I was receiving excellent care.
I highly recommend the Derby Street Warby Parker location. Every member of the team I’ve worked with has gone above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service during a particularly challenging time, and I am incredibly grateful for their expertise and kindness

I was extremely disappointed with the service at the Warby Parker location in Hingham, MA. During our Saturday visit, staff helped fix and set up my husband’s account. Because we had forgotten our FSA card, we specifically asked whether everything could be arranged so we could simply return the next day to pay. We also asked if we could complete the order online and were told no—we had to come back in person to pay.
When we returned the next day, the experience quickly became frustrating. One staff member appeared unfamiliar with the system and then informed us that we were missing a measurement needed to complete the purchase. This was confusing and disappointing, considering we had made a point the day before of confirming that everything was ready and that all we would need to do was pay.
When I asked whether this should have been addressed during our Saturday visit, another staff member responded in a very dismissive and abrupt manner, essentially implying that the previous mistake was not his concern. He turned away mid-conversation and ignored my question, which felt unprofessional and disrespectful. No solution was even offered.
What is interesting is that I went home and ordered product even thought I was told I couldn't and told I couldn't order because of a missing measurement.

The ophthalmologist at the Hingham location was fantastic! She took her time with me and was very thorough. I was also pleasantly surprised by how great the staff was in helping me select the correct style for my face. Two thumbs up!

If you haven’t done Warby Parker, then you are doing eye care wrong! From the moment you walk in all the way up to the appointment, the staff was low pressure, but attentive and friendly. Dr. Kozak was super thorough and very helpful. Unlike some of the other eye care providers who are just going through the motions.

The worst service ever. I do not recommend this place. The employee at check-in was rude and unprofessional. I called ahead of time to make sure arriving 15–20 minutes late would still be okay, and customer service confirmed that I should still come in for the appointment. However, once I arrived, I was turned away. Very disappointing experience at the Warby Parker location

I had my yearly exam with Fatima Garcia and I never felt so comfortable during an exam before. She educated me on my personal needs and I felt confident when I left knowing she acknowledged my concerns and I felt seen and heard. Noah also showed me some really pretty frames and got me out of my comfort zone it was all a fun experience! I love this location!

Would leave zero stars if I could.
Left early for an appointment and hit heavy traffic on the way, tried to call ahead to say I would be late and got routed to a call center that told me they could not even contact the store directly due to the possibility I would be late. Got to the store and was told, “you’re 7 minutes late there’s nothing we can do”
