Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

Staff took the time to make sure I got what I needed, and the price was a third of what I'd pay elsewhere. Selection was great. I had tried it online before, but the fit wasn't right. Now that there's a store where I can get the fit adjusted and have all my questions answered by a real person, I can't imagine getting glasses anywhere else.

I had the intention of trying a few different companies. Warby Parker was the first place I stopped, and didn't need to go anyplace else. The store was well staffed, and I was greeted immediately by Louis, one of their associates. He was excellent, and very helpful in explaining my options with the prescription I had. Although I only needed reading glasses, the price for a second pair was very good. I purchased a pair of distance glasses as well.
Very happy I went there.

Came in earlier today just to look around for glasses and was met with excellent customer service and friendly attitude from all the staff. Asked some general questions and an optician who I believe was named James offered to adjust my glasses and did it within under a minute and they have NEVER fit better in my ENTIRE LIFE. Great service with and a wonderful team with a good vibe!

This rating should be zero stars but that is not an option. Went in mid day on a weekend. Only one other customer in the store at the time, and 5 staff. The other customer left a few minutes later, so it twas only the two of us. After 15 minutes of not being even greeted, we left. Guess the 5 staff had better priorities. I hope they work on commission.

I'm a long time customer of Warby Parker. I appreciate their helpful staff and (typically) reasonable prices for a product that is dominated by a small number of corporations that routinely rip us off. NOT THIS TIME. Not being a habitual purchaser of sunglasses, I had no idea - AND NOBODY IN THE STORE PROVIDED THIS INFORMATOIN - that a simple pair of Rx sunglasses would cost OVER $300. Had I been the one wielding the credit card, I would have said NO. But I wasn't...

Excellent experience at Warby Parker in Lynnfield, MA. My eye exam was quick, efficient, and incredibly easy from start to finish. I was able to order contact lenses on site, my prescriptions were saved on file for future glasses orders, and they also emailed me my prescriptions in case I want to shop elsewhere.
There was barely any wait, no real paperwork, and everything was done on my phone or computer, which made the process super smooth. Mo at the front desk was especially knowledgeable and helpful, and he even offered to submit my insurance claim for reimbursement so I didn’t have to deal with the out-of-network process myself.
Overall, 5 stars. One of the fastest and most efficient eye exam experiences I’ve ever had.

I have purchased sunglasses from Warby Parker for years and have had a wonderful experience.
My Mother recently fell and had a concussion and needed new reading and sunglasses. I was excited to take her to Warby Parker.
However, our experience did not meet expectations. The gentlemen who helped us was kind, maybe misinformed, but we thought we were in good hands. We mentioned my Moms concussion and the importance of getting her her glasses fast. We paid extra to rush the prescription reading and sunglasses and were told they would arrive in a couple days. First lie. According to who we spoke to at customer service, a rush order still takes several days, we should have never been told that they would arrive in 3 days. They waived the rush fee and we waited.
We finally got the glasses and the reading glasses prescription were completely off. We took them to our eye Dr and they confirmed that these were the wrong prescription. Now we are questioning if the sunglasses are even polarized.
Ultimately, we are extremely disappointed in our experience. We spent over $1k on these 2 pairs of sunglasses, were told incorrect information and finally received a product that was wrong. I'm disappointed in how my Mother was treated even after sharing that she was recovering from a concussion.
I think Warby Parker is good if you do not need a prescription, but please avoid for special glasses that require a prescription. It's worth going to an established eye dr.

Excellent experience at Warby Parker. I stopped in with my three small grandchildren, who were given coloring paper and markers and fruit snacks to keep them busy and to free me up to talk to the eyeglass professional, from start to finish. I was made to feel very comfortable. The style offerings and pricing was great for me as a retiree and I not only bought a primary pair of glasses but a pair of sunglasses as well.
