Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
The well-known portion of an eye exam where you read from a chart of progressively shrinking letters until they're too small to see

Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I was treated very rude when I first arrived to the store. I asked politely if I could have my glasses adjusted, and before I was helped I got laughed at when they saw my glasses. Then before proceeding to help with adjustment of the glasses I was asked " If I even bought them from warby" I found that offensive since I have been to numerous locations in Philadelphia, Baltimore and D.C , and have never been treated like that before.
Note: The glasses I went in to get adjusted were bought from the Philadelphia location. I notified the person who asked me this as well.
I ended up just buying contacts from this location, and leaving afterwards. It was a very bad experience. The lady who adjusted my glasses was very nice and polite/ showed great customer service. The Date this happened was 2/21/26 around 2:30 pm

Because the first pair of glasses I received hurt my nose there were some issues with adjusting them. When I got the second pair, they still needed to be adjusted and there were still issues. Ashton was fantastic in helping me resolve the issues in a way that kept me from having to reorder the glasses again. He was quick and wonderful to deal with. I really appreciated that after a fairly long wait because of unusual circumstances I was able to walk out of the store with his help with glasses that I love.

This was by far one of the best optometrist exams I’ve ever had Dr. Olgin was amazing and very thorough. She asked lots of orations about my vision and most recent experience with my contacts and glasses. The staff was amazing as well. Wonderful experience from the moment I walked in. The doctor who did my exam was patient and took her time to talk to me regarding contact lens options. Have never had anyone take this time and assuring me I had options to use contacts. Eric was WONDERFUL in assisting me in making my decisions for glasses and sunglasses. I absolutely love Warby Parker and have been going there for years for both eyeglasses and sunglasses. One of my favorite things about them is how reasonably priced their eyewear is — it allows me to change up my aesthetic whenever I want. Whether I’m in the mood for something more colorful or something more subtle, I can easily switch it up. The frames are affordable enough to own multiple pairs, yet still high quality, so I never worry about them breaking. They’re stylish, well-made, and there truly are options for everyone.
Today (December 12, 2025) was my first time trying the ophthalmologist at the Annapolis location, and it was such a wonderful experience. As someone who has been going to the same eye doctor since middle school, it was refreshing to experience a more modern, updated approach to eye care. The newer technology made the visit feel more comfortable, efficient, and pleasant overall.
The ophthalmologist had excellent bedside manner — she was knowledgeable, explained everything clearly, and made sure all of my questions were answered before I left. The staff at this location has consistently been friendly, helpful, and genuinely seems to enjoy what they do and assisting customers.
I highly recommend Warby Parker Annapolis for all of your eyewear needs, whether prescription or non-prescription. There truly is something for everyone.
