Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

This was my first time using Warby Parker and I enjoyed my experience. It's been a few years since my last eye exam and I was impressed with the latest technology which made my exam quick and efficient. After my exam, I selected a cute pair of glasses and a fly pair "Jackie O" sunglasses with the assistance of the sales agent, whose name I can't remember but she was extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend Warby Parker to anyone interested in an eye exam and/or some new glasses.

I've not had great experience with other eye doctors in the area, but Warby Parker was extremely helpful, kind and the process was very streamlined. I was able to use insurance to get prescription sunglasses and get a discount on a new pair of eyeglasses. I was in and out in an hour with two pairs of glasses in the mail and a case for them! All the employees working were bright and took their time to help me find the glasses that fit my face and vibe the best!

I was treated very rude when I first arrived to the store. I asked politely if I could have my glasses adjusted, and before I was helped I got laughed at when they saw my glasses. Then before proceeding to help with adjustment of the glasses I was asked " If I even bought them from warby" I found that offensive since I have been to numerous locations in Philadelphia, Baltimore and D.C , and have never been treated like that before.
Note: The glasses I went in to get adjusted were bought from the Philadelphia location. I notified the person who asked me this as well.
I ended up just buying contacts from this location, and leaving afterwards. It was a very bad experience. The lady who adjusted my glasses was very nice and polite/ showed great customer service. The Date this happened was 2/21/26 around 2:30 pm

Because the first pair of glasses I received hurt my nose there were some issues with adjusting them. When I got the second pair, they still needed to be adjusted and there were still issues. Ashton was fantastic in helping me resolve the issues in a way that kept me from having to reorder the glasses again. He was quick and wonderful to deal with. I really appreciated that after a fairly long wait because of unusual circumstances I was able to walk out of the store with his help with glasses that I love.

This was by far one of the best optometrist exams I’ve ever had Dr. Olgin was amazing and very thorough. She asked lots of orations about my vision and most recent experience with my contacts and glasses. The staff was amazing as well. They helped me select frames ideal for my face and prescription. 10 out of 10. No notes!
