Video-Assisted Doctor Panel
Introduction
Our video-assisted exams are performed by a panel of state licensed remote doctors. An in-person optometric assistant will perform eye tests to assess your vision, and then one of our remote doctors will video call in to the exam room to complete your exam

Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I came to Warby Parker to get my brand new WP glasses adjusted and was told the person who does fittings/adjustments left for the day!!! so none of the other three employees could help me! What is the point of having so many employees if none of them are “licensed” to do a basic job that all other eyeglass stores require. The employees told me to try lenscrafters or another vision store in the mall because this happens so often. I went on a goose chase trying to get my glasses adjusted just to be told by BOTH stores that they refuse to adjust any WP glasses due to breakage and they need to stop sending people to them. This makes for a truly awful customer experience. I hope you guys make adjustments and make sure all your employees are licensed opticians or at least more than just one..

Worst location for RGP hard contact lenses patient. Don’t even bother with warby Parker for RGP lenses. They are not capable of getting you the prescription. Talked to 3 different people regarding the prescription and ended up wasting my time after getting eye exams. Don’t go this place

I had a fabulous retail experience at Warby Parker today. I unfortunately did not get the name of the retail associate who helped me, but she was fabulous! I came in knowing which frames I wanted. She was able to answer my questions regarding the frames, and when she didn't know an answer she was willing to ask another associate or her supervisor. I really appreciated that. She tried to create a clear financial picture and gave me advice about how to submit to my insurance. We enjoyed some smile and laughs while choosing my lenses for my prescriptive shades and she made me feel great about my choice. Very pleasant and helpful person. I appreciate both.
