Video-Assisted Doctor Panel
Introduction
Video-assisted exams are performed by a panel of state licensed remote doctors. An in-person optometric technician will perform eye tests to assess your vision, and then a remote doctor will video call in to the exam room to complete your exam

Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

They called me 4 minutes before my appointment (I had arrived at the location aleady) to be told the only doctor in office called out and they would have to cancle my appointment. Then after I said how it would have been nice to have gotten a longer notice i was told they could do a virtual appointment while in the office. After waiting in office for over 20 minutes I was told the equipment used for virtual didn't work and that nothing more could be done.

Warby always does a great job caring for their patients/customers. They've always done phenomenal at Columbia in making sure your glasses are serviced well. Today, Ash who is a supervisor covering from Baltimore, really got me squared away for issues with my lenses and glasses. They go the extra mile for us firefighters and government workers and others, such as teachers

Only helpful and friendly when selling. Customer service after, "Eh not so good."
Here's why: In June thru Nov 2025 I purchased FOUR different pair of glasses.
One pair of four purchased, at the very first use, was knocked out of my hands, falling to floor. Cats!!!
I finally happened to be near the mall and had the injured pair of glasses with me.
After much toil in looking for the account, they would only verify the 3rd pair purchased, saying out of warranty and sending me on my way.
Needless to say. I'm a FORMER UNHAPPY customer. I will not be returning.
The prices they charge are on the high side. And I know I may very well have bought them online and take to my optometrist to set lenses But chose to take a dive. I'm very disappointed and do not recommend WB for eyewear.
Lesson learned.

The sales representative was extremely helpful, and she submitted my claim for a couple of rebates while I was still in the store. The final touch was receiving email confirmations from my visit and purchase. Ask for Reigna, she was great!

I stopped in to Columbia to see if I could get a new frame for a broken pair of glasses. Raina was incredibly personable and helpful. She even recognized me from a prior purchase many months ago. Glasses fixed in no time. Excellent service from Raina as well as the other person (didn't get her name)!!

Worst location for RGP hard contact lenses patient. Don’t even bother with warby Parker for RGP lenses. They are not capable of getting you the prescription. Talked to 3 different people regarding the prescription and ended up wasting my time after getting eye exams. Don’t go this place
