Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $35)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I’ve been wearing Warby Parker for several years. I frequently get comments on my Estrada glasses in Prickly Pear Tortoise. Love them! Not only do the glasses stand up to the test of time (unless you sit on them - oops!), the staff at the Pike and Rose location in Maryland are superb. I can go in for minor adjustments for no charge and they always take their time to make sure I have everything I need.

They canceled my appointment when I arrived because I was 3 minutes late (traffic and parking were awful as usual). They wouldn’t be accommodating or flexible at all. I had taken a full day off work (I’m a federal employee who is not allowed to telework and has to go into the office in DC everyday) for the appointment and had to make the appointment months in advance. It was insanely rude to waste my time like this. Their glasses are also cheap and don’t fit comfortably. It’s a nightmare to deal with their corporate bureaucracy. Never again!

Jason and the dr (Adriana Esten) turned me away because I was 3minutes late for my appointment. Jason called while I was parking, so he knew I was there. I literally ran from the parking lot, but the dr (Adriana Esten) told him that she wouldn't give me a contact lens exam and glasses exam because I was "past the grace period". Jason refused to accommodate or even let me speak with her. I had taken a full day off work for the appointment, which I booked months in advance. horrible customer service. ridiculous lack of business acumen. They lost another customer. No wonder their BBB rating is an F!

Great experience here. I had a personal issue with my glasses (not from Warby), and they were nice enough to fix it. Moving forward, I will do my exams here and purchase glasses from here. Their selection is quite nice.

THIS Warby Parker has a permanent ON-SITE doctor for exams! (Some don't). The store is beautiful inside. I easily got a same day appointment. All employees I saw were very nice. Parking in this area can be a BIG challenge - you'll prob have to park in a big garage - plus you must pay. The BIG deal breaker for me applies to ALL Warby Parker... they have ZERO frames with magnetic clip-on sunglasses!!! ZERO!! These frames are AMAZING, and every frame sold should include a matching magnetic clip-on sunglass! Check these frames on-line. You'll never go back.

Walked in because I wanted to see what the chatter was about with Warby Parker. Sufficed to say it was an amazing experience and I will be back to get some Rx Glasses.
I wanted a pair of polarized sunglasses because I lost my Raybans and the gentleman that helped me was amazing. I unfortunately don't remember his name, but the customer service was on point, from suggestions, to offering options, and even being confident enough in himself to tell another dude what looks good with with their facial shape.
As for the price, it was very reasonable for the material, style, and protection the glasses have. I would have spent more at the Raybans store. Thank you!

Had a great experience at this Warby Parker location. Didn’t realize they offered eye exams as well. After not finding anything I liked for a reasonable price at my optometrist I decided to head over and see what offerings they had here. The employees were very friendly and helpful. I came in at 6pm and I know the store closes @7pm but they never made me feel rushed and they encouraged me to try on as many pairs as I needed to make a decision. Once I decided on 2 pairs the measuring and ordering process went very quickly and the glasses will be delivered to my home, so no extra trips back to the store for pickup!!

The store is very simply and neatly arranged, it has a nice asthetic. The optometrist and staff were all very friendly and welcoming and willing to answer any questions you have. The optometrist and staff also work quickly but still explain things and make sure things are done well. They opticians are also good at helping you find frames that work with what you want, your face size, and what looks good at the same time as trying to stay in your budget.
