Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

Warby Parker Towson Town Center location is the BEST!!! Every time I visit the location it feels calming and welcoming. The staff ALWAYS takes GREAT care of me and my family. From new purchases, to fittings and just checking out new designs I always feel better after my visit. I walked right in and was greeted with a warm smile right away!! Everyone is always welcoming and eager to help. India was amazing, she helped me find a new pair of glasses. She pointed me to the two areas with the style I wanted. The process was super fast and easy. The new glasses were shipped to my house. Also a side note: India was a very sweet and kind person— easy to have small talk with!! We need more people like her in this world!

I’ve only ever had great experiences here. The opticians are honest and knowledgeable about frame styling, and will go out of their way to make sure you feel taken care of.
My eye exam went smoothly. The office was very clean, my technician was kind and very good at her job, and the televisit portion was pleasant :)

Misleading advertising - exam was quoted online at $95. When I got to the store I was told that they would charge an additional $40 for a mandatory retina photo, which was not mentioned online or in any of the confirmation emails. The staff eventually agreed to waive the fee, but the whole thing felt like a bait and switch.
Also, I called twice before the appointment to confirm that they would fill out a MVA vision form at the appointment (the first phone rep was very hard to understand). At the store I was told that they would not fill out the paper, but would email me an electronic form on the following Monday. It is now Thurs and no form. After 30 minutes into another phone call trying to sort all this out, I was told that I cannot directly contact the store by phone or email, and that they may eventually get around to having the optometrist sending me the form I was promised.
Very disappointed about this customer service after buying two expensive sets of glasses. In the future I will avoid Warby Parker , and more generally locations with remote eye exams.

Had a great experience today getting glasses for myself and my daughter. India was so incredibly patient and knowledgeable. She knew all about pupil height and understood my concern about previous glasses having the wrong measurement. She knew which frames came in narrow, medium, etc. She was so understanding in us changing our mind or asking additional questions. Thank you, India!

This visit was a quick in and prompt service to what I needed. I was not happy with the frame that arrived by mail. Had them adjusted but I still did not like how the frame felt on me. The workers there attentive and my person was sweet and helpful. Was able to switch frames with her guidance and now I’m waiting for that to come in the mail. This is my store to go to!!!

The selection is on the smaller side, but there’s still so many great, curated options. I like the size of the store because it makes it less overwhelming. Also many of the glasses are unisex. The staff there has always been so kind helpful whenever I’ve gone. Highly recommend as they have a pretty large collection that’s on the cheaper side!

I was helped by a fantastic optician India who gave great advice on fitting, provided several samples which helped me narrow down my choices and made sure that I used my insurance coverage appropriately. Would recommend 10/10 again. Definitely coming back to try Rx sunglasses when my insurance kicks back in.
