Dr. Chelsea Schramm graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in 2021. In her downtime, Dr. Schramm enjoys spending time with her husband and 8 month old daughter, being outdoors, hiking, biking and going to the beach.

Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

Warby Parker at Breton Village is an excellent place to purchase eye glass frames. Frames come in great creative styles and cost less than at many retailers. Staff is incredibly helpful and attentive. Finished glasses take about two weeks to complete and are mailed to you. I shopped at several retailers before choosing frames at Warby Parker; I had the best experience with this store!

I squished my glasses so very flat and Melanie performed, what can only be described as, emergency surgery on them. Melanie has the patience of a saint and even replaced my nose pads while they were at it because why not. Melanie deserves nothing but green lights and cold pillows.

What a great experience. I walked in and was immediately waited on. A friend had recommended the store and they were right! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They helped me find a pair of glasses I like without being patronizing. They filed the insurance claim for me while I was still at the store. I have been buying my glasses at the same store in Holland, MI for years and the pair I got at Warby Parker was not only of better quality, but it was also over $400.00 cheaper! This is my new place for glasses!

I’m giving it a 5 star because the staff and doctor were great!!! Everyone was very helpful and kind. Unfortunately the glasses are terrible they are already falling apart and I’ve had them for about almost 5 months, at least the one I purchased is, maybe I just chose the wrong ones I don’t know but I probably won’t be purchasing glasses from them anymore.

Went there today in hopes of buying a couple of prescription sunglasses. 2 clerks on and one dealing with the lady that came in just before me. No greeting, no "can I help you?", nothing. I looked around for a good 15 or 20 minutes, trying on various frames as the the clerk was wrapping up with the aforementioned lady. Still nothing. The other clerk never looked up from their tablet/notebook. Another lady came in the store, and was quickly attended to.
I left. Not the type of service that I had experienced last time around for my glasses. Very disappointed.
