Dr. Priya Brown
Introduction
Dr. Priya Brown graduated from the Michigan College of Optometry in 2019. As a Michigan native (fun fact: she graduated from Seaholm High School) she is grateful to be practicing close to her hometown community.
Dr. Riam Gappy
Introduction
Dr. Riam Gappy is a state-licensed optometrist who graduated from the Chicago College of Optometry (CCO) in 2024. Specializing in primary care optometry, Dr. Gappy uses cutting-edge technology and clinical expertise to perform a comprehensive eye health exam—prescribing eyeglasses, fitting contact lenses, evaluating eye health, and more for patients ages 4 and up.

Comprehensive exams starting at $85
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

Everything about my experience at the store was great. I went to my ophthalmologist’s office and had my exam. I tried to get glasses there but it was going to be the same price for one pair of glasses (with my insurance) as it would be for two pairs at Warby Parker (without insurance). The sales associate was very kind and attentive. She was helpful in understanding how to submit a claim to my insurance since I was out of network. I’m very excited to get my glasses!

First off, I’d like to address a “negative” review I saw from a customer who seemed more upset about company policy than the actual store experience—grow up, Marissa.
As for my visit, I had one of the best retail experiences of my life here today. The staff was kind, informative, and genuinely helpful. Imani, Anya, and Cass were all professional, welcoming, and extremely knowledgeable—they truly are the heart and soul of this store.
Dr. Gappy was also fantastic. She clearly explained the different lens options and add-ons, and did so with a warm, professional demeanor that made the whole process easy and comfortable.
Plus they've got some very impressive inner eye camera technology that blew me away.
Overall, an outstanding experience from start to finish. I will heavily recommend this specific location. Couldn't be happier!

The experience of Warby Parker for the first time was great! They had a large selection and it was nice to have the lenses included in the cost of the glasses. I was able to get prescription glasses AND sunglasses for $16 more than what I was going to pay for glasses alone from glasses.com. Skyler was the most helpful and she made the daunting task of getting new glasses such a fun experience! 10/10 would recommend: I’m so excited for my new glasses and sunglasses to come in.

I cannot say enough about this Warby Parker in Rochester Hills! Before today I had not even been there. I just stopped by real fast during my work day in hopes that they would be able to put a screw into my eyeglasses because I was not able to get it in myself. The girl that helped me was so kind and helpful and worked on fixing my eyeglasses for about 15 minutes. It turns out the eyeglasses used an open screw in which to screw the eyeglasses together. Imani told me that it’s a difficult thing to fix but she was able to fix it for me for which I was so grateful and relieved seeing that I haven’t been able to use my glasses for about a week now. I asked Imani how much I owed her for fixing my glasses and she said don’t worry about it there would be no charge. Which was so kind of her seeing that it wasn’t a quick fix or anything. I can’t recommend this warby parkers enough! Imani was so friendly and helpful and the whole experience was amazing. I will definitely be giving them more business in the future! Totally recommend!!
