Comprehensive exams starting at $85
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.

Whether we’re in- or out-of-network with your carrier, you can use vision insurance to save at Warby Parker . (We accept FSA and HSA, too!)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

Fantastic experience! The optician was friendly and helpful but didn't hover while I was trying on frames. She answered my questions, gave me my options, and grabbed regular lenses vs sunglasses lenses in the frames I chose to ensure I knew how they'd look as regular glasses/sunglasses.
The optician checked my VSP coverage, completed my transaction ensuring the most beneficial reimbursement with my VSP plan, and made sure all my questions were answered.
She was thorough yet efficient and effective, and I am THRILLED for my new frames to come in a few weeks!!

The sales person was very helpful. I am blind in one eye and need my glasses to see things up close. If she wasn’t able to help me I was a hurting unit for a while. Smile on her face she helped me to ease my anxiety and worked out a solution no questions asked. She was a life saver and deserves accolades all around not for the way in which she helped me but how she helped. There is a difference and it meant more to me than she knew. And I told her so. Bonus in her next Christmas stocking!

I used to absolutely love Warby Parker - but their new changes to automate eye exams with AI are absolutely dehumanizing. The whole process has left me lacking trust in the care that I'm receiving from Warby Parker. There were several issues with the AI exam and on top of that even more difficulties for staff trying to get the telahealth doctor on where they had to remote in tech support. Definitely get your eye exam somewhere else.
Let me be abundantly clear the staff at this location are absolutely amazing and were apologizing left and right. I genuinely feel bad for them as it's clear they are just following top down orders from corporate. The staff here are genuinely trying their best to work with half-baked technology solutions.

This year I’ve been twice to this location and both times I was never acknowledged, not even once. Saw others come in and they were greeted. Today 08/24/2025 was my second visit and my oh my was it an awful feeling to relive the first visit here. Ridgedale location is by far my favorite Warby Parker, kind and hard working staff.
I also noticed that myself a Latino and another person of African descent were ignored while others who came in who were Caucasian were greeted on the spot…
There were 3 Caucasian females “working” they were on their phone for most of the time and wish I would gotten their names. Last time visiting this location.
