Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

My eyesight has declined in my 40s, and I was hesitant to get glasses because I wasn’t sure I’d wear them. A friend suggested starting with prescription sunglasses—she loves hers from Warby Parker (she has 10 pairs!)—so I decided to try. The in-store experience was excellent: two helpful gentlemen guided me through frames that suited my face and style, assisted with the prescription, and placed the order. I’m very happy with the service and highly recommend Warby Parker.

All of the staff, including the doctor, were super friendly and helpful. I specifically came to this store, because I didn’t like the idea of the video assisted appointments at the locations closer to me. And I’m really happy with my decision to get my exam done here. I will definitely be back for future exams.

Spectacular experience. I'm a business professional, I have little to no time to waste, and making an appointment at the time that worked for me, was easy. They helped file my insurance claim and all. 10/10 very streamlined process that was easy for me. Vincent and Erika were amazing helping me as well as the Doctor at the location! (I didn't see her name tag but she was amazing too).

As a person who has been wearing glasses for 27 year, I have to say the whole process from scheduling to getting to the store, and then the appointment was great. You just schedule online (they do take vision insurance or you pay HSA/FSA/out of pocket) but really the cost wasn't that bad. The scheduling process was so nice, it lets you know what is avalible near you. You can pick a date, time, and location that works for you with out having to take a lot of time out of your day to make a phone call or wait around to recieve a return call. Overall the exam was quick and to the point. Both the doc and the tech were friendly, informative, and able to answer all my questions. They did a retinal scan instead of dilation which was so worth it. Super friendly staff. I got my prescription sent to my email before I left. They ask about buying glasses there but not too pushy about it. Plus if you do want to buy there the frames are reasonably priced compared to other stores.

This was my first experience using Warby Parker for my eye sight. I was extremely impressed. The staff were delightful and helpful right from the start. The eye doctor took care to explain everything fully and the after care staff were extremely helpful and even had some sets for me to try when I came out! Will definitely go back. The overall experience was great and such good value for money too!!

Wonderful sales staff! So helpful. So attentive. I went in to have an adjustment on a current pair of WP glasses, which Dylan did within 5 minutes of walking in. I ended up buying 2 more pairs! So many great options in all styles and colors. Really, you can’t beat their price and service. They have always gotten my prescription right and I honestly think they are the most clear lenses I have ever purchased——and I have owned many, many pairs of glasses in the past 30 years.

Location is close to me store has friendly staff was able to look around and then have an associate help me make some final decisions and inquire about various tense available. Prices are just comparable to everybody else and products. I bought a pair of regular glasses, prescription glasses, and a pair of sunglasses prescription. Overall, I’m very happy very satisfied.

Helpful and friendly staff members. I really enjoyed being able to browse without anyone hovering behind my back and were there if I needed any support. I loved how the prices are transparent and with the helpful details on wideness of the frames for easy selection of what fits for you. Plenty of variety as well.

This review is a difficult one. I had a great experience getting my eye exam, however everything after that was a huge let down. The person helping me check out didn’t know what they were doing at all. It took forever, they kept inputting the wrong information, and in the end I was charged for the glasses, however the order was never actually placed. I had to call customer support days later because while it showed up on my bank account, the order wasn’t showing up on the Warby Parker app.

Stopped into Warby Parker today because I was having issues with a new pair of glasses—turns out it was due to the fatigue lenses. The team took the time to explain everything, and once I decided they weren’t right for me, they replaced the lenses, refunded the upgrade, and didn’t charge me anything for the change. Outstanding customer service—really impressed with how easy they made the whole process!
