Introduction
Our video-assisted exams are performed by a panel of state licensed remote doctors. An in-person optometric assistant will perform eye tests to assess your vision, and then one of our remote doctors will video call in to the exam room to complete your exam

Comprehensive exams starting at $85
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $35)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

Worst experience I’ve ever had at an eye doctor. I had an appointment scheduled weeks in advance and still waited 45 minutes in the store to be seen, even though I was the only customer there. I was told their machines “weren’t working properly” after I had already arrived, and the entire visit ended up taking over two hours.
When I expressed frustration about the process, an employee went to the back and tried to discreetly give me a Starbucks gift card, which felt very unprofessional and inappropriate.
I was then told my contact lenses would arrive in a week. It took almost a month. When they finally scheduled me to pick them up, they gave me a 10:45 AM appointment — only for me to arrive to a completely dark, locked store. After waiting, I was told they don’t even open until 11:00. Why schedule a patient before opening hours?
This was a total waste of my time from start to finish. Poor communication, poor scheduling, and extremely disappointing customer service. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

I just went to the Warby Parker store to get my glasses fitted that I had ordered online and they told me there’s no optician available to do that and at the nearest one is Roseville—completely unacceptable to have a store with no optician to help with what it clearly states that they should be able to do. Absolutely ridiculous. You cannot have an eye eyeglasses store without an optician on staff.

If you ever need new glasses I highly recommend Warby Parker in Woodbury lakes. My daughter and I went there tonight and were in and out within 20 min. Super painless and $95 total for frames with prescription and free shipping to our house.
I feel like I have paid much more at like Walmart vision in the past and had to pick them up.

After being a Lens Crafters customer for the past several years I had a negative experience with a frame and lenses I purchased there last year.
