Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

Wonderful staff at the Frontenac location - they are friendly and welcoming when I enter the store. In addition, they are helpful with frame selection and make it fun to try on various frames. It’s so simple to have eye exam there and the optometrist always teaches me something.

Type Warby Parker in your gps in order to find the store. Once you enter the mall it’s to your right. The address sent through text will take you to the wrong place. Overall great location with amazing staff

My wife went into Warby Parker just looking to get her glasses fixed, and it turned into an absolute ordeal. First, she was told it would take a whole month just to replace her lenses. Because she couldn’t wait that long, she asked if she could just buy a brand-new pair of frames on the spot. Apparently, her prescription had expired, so she couldn't buy them without a new exam.
Luckily, they were able to fit her in for an eye exam right then, but that’s where the real issue started. The eye doctor there couldn’t get her right eye to 20/20 vision. Instead of helping her find a solution or getting her glasses sorted out, he just threw his hands up, told her she needed to see a completely different doctor, and charged her $80 for the exam.
So after trying to fix her lenses, attempting to buy a new pair, and sitting through an exam, she walked out with absolutely nothing resolved, $80 out of pocket, and was just passed off to someone else. Highly disappointed in the lack of care and service she received.

I had the best experience at Warby Parker in Frontenac! Caulder is truly the glasses whisperer. She is absolutely amazing and has such a kind, genuine heart.
I came in with two different pairs of glasses and had my toddler with me, which can sometimes be a lot, but Caulder was so patient, calm, and understanding the entire time. She made sure both pairs fit perfectly and took her time to get everything just right.
Her positivity and energy really stood out. She made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable, even with a busy little one in tow. She even gave my toddler fantasy unicorn stickers, which completely made her day.
I appreciate her so much. Caulder is hands down the BEST when it comes to fixing and fitting glasses. Warby Parker is lucky to have her!

Cara was a great help! I had already found my favorite frames online and wanted to try on in person. She helped explain widths and sizing and even popped out the lenses on a pair of sunglasses so I could try the frames without them and THAT was the pair I ended up buying! I was in and out in under 30 minutes! Great experience that I had been dreading.

I went today because Warby Parker was the only place I could find that could expedite an order. But I'll definitely go back even when not in a hurry for the large selection, quality glasses, and friendly service. The only downside for me is they're not in my insurance network. I'll still go back.
