Introduction
Our video-assisted exams are performed by a panel of state licensed remote doctors. An in-person optometric assistant will perform eye tests to assess your vision, and then one of our remote doctors will video call in to the exam room to complete your exam

Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

This was my first ever eye exam, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Lily was incredible! She walked me through every step ahead of time, explained what to expect, and made sure I felt comfortable asking questions. She also checked in with me throughout the entire process, and it all felt very comfortable.
When it came to picking out glasses, she made what could have been an overwhelming shopping experience feel rather simple and manageable with thoughtful recommendations. I never felt pressured at any point. I felt informed and supported.
Overall, I felt completely comfortable from start to finish. Highly recommend! Go see Lily!

This store is such a great example of why I return to Warby Parker. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and I actually ended up laughing a lot like I was hanging out with old friends. Lily the eye tech was especially great. Even my first time with a remote optician went smoothly and was totally fine.

Had a wonderful experience with this Warby Parker location! The technician made me comfortable throughout my exam and was a pleasure to converse with.
The associate who helped me choose my glasses was amazing. She patiently walked me through dozens of frame styles to find just what I wanted. I can't recommend this location more highly.

If you want a fun annual eye test and great support in finding the right frames for you, this is the place to go. I was planning on one pair and walked away with two fully loaded progressives that came in under my budget. The frames are light, funky, and have everything I needed (blue light, transition lenses, and scratch guard).

I have never been to Warby Parker mainly because I assumed it was very overpriced. Not only was I completely wrong, they have a wonderful selection of glasses that fits every style and need. The sales associates were helpful without being overbearing. They provided excellent insight to all of the products I tried on. I ended up leaving with two pairs of glasses. I will definitely be back.
