Comprehensive exams starting at $85
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

An extra star because the people at this location were nice and helpful.
The eye exam is done remotely, and the "#1 or #2" test is weird with lag; he was saying "#2" as it was just switching to #1.
The big issue was getting the glasses. I was told it would be 2 weeks. Two weeks later at 4:59 I get an email saying my glasses are delayed. I reply asking if there is an issue and am told they're just a little delayed because of my (somewhat) fancy lenses. I follow up a couple days later and am told my glasses failed quality check long before that first email and they had to start over. From then on, it was weeks of customer service lying to me, telling me that my glasses were just about to ship, then admitting that they were never close to shipping in the first place.
I wish I would've looked at reviews for the company Warby Parker instead of just this location because there seem to be a ton of stories like mine and worse.

This was my first time visiting Warby Parker and I had a fantastic experience! They recently opened a store near my house on Commonwealth Ave. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of affordable glasses. Highly recommend!

Went in to look for a pair of glasses I’ve had my eyes on for a few months now, and wound up deciding on a completely different pair thanks to Merin & Dorian. They took their time to show me all of the options available, as well as helping me figure out which pair worked the best on me. I asked for additional information about ordering contacts, and they gave me all the information about my options through insurance. So incredibly helpful & kind, thank you to you both!

I drove over an hour to get new glasses. Ordered two pair of glasses only for the guy to ask my new address and my glasses to be shipped to my old address! To say I’m PISSED is an understatement! Now I’m sitting here with no glasses.

Went there today to get my glasses adjusted. I had ordered them at the SouthPark mall, but this was much easier to get into the store. They have 10 minute parking in front of store and we were in and out in under 10. They made the adjustments I needed and wasted no time in doing so. The store itself seemed to have a good collection of glasses. It was a good experience.
