Introduction
Our video-assisted exams are performed by a panel of state licensed remote doctors. An in-person optometric assistant will perform eye tests to assess your vision, and then one of our remote doctors will video call in to the exam room to complete your exam

Comprehensive exams starting at $85
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $35)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

My first time ever at Warby Parker. The prices and selections of frames were magnificent! The staff was super friendly and although the store was full, I had someone attend to me very quickly. Great first experience! Make sure you tell them if you have Vision insurance, I didn't have the insurance.

The store itself is absolutely beautiful—bright, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed, which made browsing a pleasure. Joshua was especially outstanding and truly delivered amazing customer service. He was knowledgeable, patient, and made the entire experience easy and enjoyable from start to finish. I was also impressed by how quickly and seamlessly I was able to order my new prescription glasses. It’s rare to find such a perfect blend of great design, efficiency, and exceptional service. Christopher was very easy going and never pressured me. He wasn't hovering at the entry of the store - he was putting away frames - but when he noticed that I had walked in, he made it a priority to check and see if I needed any help. He took the time to see if my insurance applied to the purchase, or if I would need to file a claim. He explained the layout of the store and told me to take my time as I tried on close to 40 frames. And, when I couldn't decide between 3 options, he let me talk it out with him before offering recommendations or suggestions. A nice, low key, but super helpful, experience & likely the first in-store purchase for eyeglasses I have ever had where I was treated as if my opinion and nearly 40 yrs of experience having Rx glasses made me the expert on what I needed in my eyewear.
Finally, when it came to the order, when it came to the lenses, there was no pushback on high index frames or added features. I said "I might wear glasses, like, 4 days a year. Bare minimum, please.", and he selected the base option and moved on.
Definitely a pleasant experience!
