Introduction
Our video-assisted exams are performed by a panel of state licensed remote doctors. An in-person optometric assistant will perform eye tests to assess your vision, and then one of our remote doctors will video call in to the exam room to complete your exam

Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

Kayla and Nicole were two extremely sweet employees that went above and beyond in customer care. They were so attentive and helpful with their own expertise. They were wonderful in breaking down the costs of the lens and frames and providing additional information to ensure we were making the best decision for ourselves. 10/10 experience in this store as well as successful purchases. Long story:
I bought a pair of WP glasses in LA and shipped them here for school. When I put them on it felt like over inexing and strained my eyes. When I went in to fix them, the manager told me my doctor miswrote my prescription. I called the office and he did not miswrite my prescription and actually says my prescription has barely changed since 4 years ago. When I went back in and said my prescription hasn’t changed and it’s the new frame’s fault, she showed me that my prescription has severely changed since my last order. The prescription she showed me was my mom’s prescription and my prescription indeed has not changed. When I went in again and asked for a new frame she explained I just had to get used to the lenses. SHE VERY CONFIDENTLY TOLD ME I WAS WRONG AT EACH STEP, REFERENCING HER 10 YEARS IN THE INDUSTRY.
Ultimately I went back to LA after uncomfortably wearing my glasses the whole flight, SIMPLY BOUGHT A NEW FRAME, and have been loving my glasses ever since!!! The only reason I am giving this location 2 stars instead of 1 is because I like WP, but the manager of this location put me through a lot of headache single-handedly because of her false confidence.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Warby Parker Southpoint every time I've been! Most recently, they helped me with measuring my PD, finding replacement frames and ordering them, and getting my current glasses adjusted to help them better last until the new ones arrive. Virginia & Ameerah both ended up helping me. Ameerah greeted me and offered pertinent info regarding deals going on, and that got my mind on buying two frames. After some time perusing the store, Virginia checked on me and I started asking opinions. Virginia was very helpful and a plethora of knowledge, not to mention witty.
