Our video-assisted exams are performed by a panel of state licensed remote doctors. An in-person optometric assistant will perform eye tests to assess your vision, and then one of our remote doctors will video call in to the exam room to complete your exam

Comprehensive exams starting at $85
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $35)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

Like the glasses, but this location has given me so many issues. Cannot get in touch with someone at the store even when they called and left me a message regarding my appointment. Staff and customer service has been incredibly unhelpful on numerous occasions. Unfortunately, will have to return to a traditional eye doctor and just order my glasses online.

Bruce helped us during our visit, and he was absolutely amazing. I had the best experience visiting this store. I’ve never worn glasses before, and just found out that I need to wear them everyday. However, I did not get my eye exam at Warby Parker because I did not know they did eye exams. I will certainly do my eye exam there next year! The other eye exam place I visited today did not make me feel welcome, and actually made me uncomfortable. I left the original place feeling defeated and judged, but at Warby Parker the associate actually explained my prescription to me and helped me pick out the perfect pair of glasses. I’m super thankful for the associate that helped me, because they really turned a horrible day into a better one.

I'm really glad I decided to come here. The staff was very attentive, helpful and friendly. As soon as I walked in the door someone approached me to help me I really like that. The young lady that did my eye tests was knowledgeale professional and was very helpful even sent applicable links relating to my exam and prescription to my email. I will definitely recommend that you come here for the service and also to find a great pair of glasses. I also really like the fact that they did not try to push any expensive frames on me or try to upsell my prescription. In fact I had ask about adding on to my prescription and of course I was given the pricing and other information needed to help me with my decision. I feel that they went beyond to make sure I had a great experience and got what I needed.

Took my dad here for an appointment and our experience was amazing. It was so quick to get an appointment and both ladies that helped us were very understanding and patient as he has some memory issues and difficulty understanding instructions; never once did they get impatient or frustrated with having to repeat instructions.
