Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.

Insurance, FSA, and HSA
Whether we’re in- or out-of-network with your carrier, you can use vision insurance to save at Warby Parker . (We accept FSA and HSA, too!)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I brought my current glasses into this store to show the guys. When I left the store I accidentally left them behind. My family and I were heading to shop at some other stores and I guess the guy heard us talking about it. He actually found us at another store and returned my glasses! I couldn't believe the attention and thoughtfulness to go searching to return my glasses.

Can not get through to Wilmington location by phone at all using any of the menu options. Call center said no direct line. So… I’m not going to go drive to the store to get a simple question answered….I’ll just go elsewhere. So frustrating. Why can’t you just call a store anymore!

Dorian is the best. I went in just to look at frames, not excited, kinda nervous as I’ve never really worn glasses - I left with 2 pairs that I am beyond excited about. He has impeccable taste and talent and genuinely had an absolutely amazing experience. Couldn’t recommend more!

Dorian was nothing short of amazing at Warby Parker! He is the most stylish and perfect person for this job. The staff was super helpful, informative, kind, patient, and answered all my questions. While they do offer upcharges, I did not feel as if they were pressuring me into spending more money. They diligently explained what each option was and ultimately let me decide. I also enjoyed the variety of lense options available to try on and select from. The prices are very reasonable for prescriptions, too!
