Introduction
Our video-assisted exams are performed by a panel of state licensed remote doctors. An in-person optometric assistant will perform eye tests to assess your vision, and then one of our remote doctors will video call in to the exam room to complete your exam

Comprehensive exams starting at $85
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $35)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

This was the best place to get my glasses. It was my first time at this establishment and the salesman was very helpful in getting my glasses. The prices are the the best I've seen . I was able to purchase 2 pairs at a very affordable price. I will be getting my next pair from them. They have a great selection of frames also.

First time at this location. Have shopped in Charlotte previously. Customer service was great. I had chosen a few pairs to try on then the clerk chose some other styles and colors for me. I ended up buying a pair of periwinkle crystal colored frames she picked out. I had narrowed it down and then she and another associate gave me their input. I’ll be back for my next pair in 2027.

Shortly after entering the store we were greeted and offered help. The guy explained to my daughter(15) and I how it was laid out and allowed us time to look around. Everyone was very helpful and offered suggestions without making us feel pressured. We were able to find her a pair of prescription eyeglasses and prescription sunglasses for a very reasonable price and they take my vision insurance! He was able to file that very easily saving us more money and made my daughter’s first eyeglass purchase so much cheaper and easier than I had expected.

We had an outstanding experience at Warby Parker location in Winston Salem, NC. Perry greeted us right away and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. We had been in the store previously, and Perry remembered us right away. We brought in the glasses we ordered online, and he went above and beyond to make sure they fit perfectly.
