The Grove at Shrewsbury

I've had rude experiences here for both myself-and now today for my 10 year old daughter. I've had positive experiences with Warby Parker in Manhattan and online, but something is off with this location and mgmt.

Extremely welcoming staff, beautiful store. Had a great eye exam with a very knowledgeable doctor.

Great customer service. Got an eye exam and picked out glasses in the same day. Super easy and convenient. The whole staff is very nice and helpful when picking out glasses. I am only shopping at WP from now for glasses. Doctors are amazing too!

10/10… The staff is incredible and friendly. They genuinely care about the customer which I feel is rare these days with other companies and retailers. Everyone was pleasant and willing to help with whatever was needed. Communication was incredible. The store is very clean and the vibes are top notch. Who knew buying glasses and contacts could be the highlight of your day. Highly recommend checking them out.

Warby Parker has a reputation for excellent customer service and I need to believe it is because they hire people like Justin at the Shrewsbury, NJ location. We started going to this location when getting glasses for our daughter. We had such a wonderful experience working with Justin we have purchased 6 more pairs for our family Justin had such positive energy, you can’t help but feel a little better about your day. The world needs more people like him.

I have been a loyal Warby Parker customer for years. I was so pleased when this location opened several years ago. The last pair I purchased was about 2 years ago in the store and everything went well. I needed a new pair now due to changes in my prescription, and even opted to get a pair of prescription sunglasses. The friendliness and knowledge of the products overall was excellent at the store. I placed the order, they took my credit card information, and was told that my two pair would be delivered in about 13 days. Two weeks later, no delivery. Checked my credit card: no charge. Checked my Warby Parker online account: no order placed. Called customer service, reached a lovely customer service rep, who said she would follow up with the store. A few hours later, I received an email from her saying the store has no recollection of who I am, me coming into the store, or placing an order. Never mind that I was there for an hour and a half and tested at least a dozen pairs with the assistance of a Warby Parker associate. Never mind that even the optometrist fixed my current pair of Warby Parker glasses to make it fit better. Never mind that I selected two pairs, was even guided to follow my prescription to purchase two progressives instead of my goal to have two single visions. Now I'm told that I need to go back to the store to spend more time doing the same thing that I already did 2 weeks ago. Not wasting my time with incompetent kids at this location. Going elsewhere. I suggest you do as well.

This is for the store ONLY. Warby Parker as a company is great and the corporate customer service was phenomenal to work with. I had checked online, which shows which insurance Warby Parker accepts; it showed the logo of my insurance as accepted and nothing further. I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment and checked in. I had the appointment, and after the service was provided, they asked me to pay the full cost. I then informed them I had vision insurance, and they finally checked the insurance number and stated it was not covered in-network. It's false advertising at best and feels like a willful effort to trap people into paying. I've never been to a Doctor, dentist, or another eyecare provider who did not collect the insurance information upfront to assess coverage. The primary staff was understanding, but the manager was incredibly rude and unhelpful. After talking to corporate customer service, they were able to work with and help me with the issue but DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE.

What a great visit - in & out in record time. Guess it helps to know what you want ... helpful, informative staff is a plus.

I had an excellent experience on my visit to the Shrewsbury store. I was greeted with a smile by Justin who listened to what I was looking for in a pair of glasses. He was able to work with me offering several suggestions and his opinion which helped greatly in coming to a decision. Needless to say I was very happy with my choice and my total shopping experience today!
