Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.

Insurance, FSA, and HSA
Whether we’re in- or out-of-network with your carrier, you can use vision insurance to save at Warby Parker . (We accept FSA and HSA, too!)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

Fantastic choices of frames! Different from other frame stores and prices are perfect! Clean store! Staff is fabulous! Very friendly and helpful! The store itself is in a great location, good selection of more affordable glasses (with insurance), got them very quickly about 4 business days later. The problem was the staff. We went there 3 times and every staff member had the same attitude; we were inconveniencing them. One employee pointed to a box of wide frame glasses on a shelf and said "figure out what you're wanting" and walked off. Leaving us to pull out multiple boxes trying to find what she was talking about. Not a great way to treat people who are spending money in your store. We had to dig through cases, boxes and never got help. The glasses themselves come in the mail quickly and haven't had a problem there. They have great warranties but it was such a hassle. (Not to mention they keep mailing me try on frames over and over again)

Great eye exam experience with an in-person optometrist. Exam felt comprehensive and professional. Much better experience than the virtual exam I got at a discount place last time. Note - Warby Parker dies not make bifocals. They only do single vision or progressive lenses. The progressive lenses seemed fairly expensive.

Not a great experience. I found a pair of frames I like at the Albuquerque location. I bought them and had them do an eye exam. Then I handed them the prescription, and they said they did not think they could do it because of the prisims but would check on it. It took them 8 days to confirm they could not put the prescription in the frames and told me to go to Family Eye Care in ABQ. There are 6 companies by that name. I tried calling Warby Parker ABQ location, but corporate told me they could not give me that phone number or connect me, so I drove the 20+ miles back to Warby Parker in ABQ and asked. They had no idea what I was talking about and recommended Eye Associates. I went directly to Eye Associates, and they said 1. It was not a real prescription because it lacked a doctor's signature (I double-checked the email, and it was not there either). 2. It is apparently difficult to put a prescription with prisims into round eyeglass frames. 3. The document that Warby Parker emailed me and called a prescription was also weird because of how they listed the numbers, and they said I should go back to them and question them, as it did not make sense. Long story short, I swallowed the $125.00 I paid for the eye exam at Warby Parker in ABQ and made a new appointment with another provider in ABQ. This was not a good experience.

Went into this store with my prescription, with the intent to purchase glasses, as I live two hours away from the store. After agreeing that I would be better off having my prescription checked by their Dr. to assure that it was as correct as I possible, I was informed that there were no appointments. available that day and I would have to make the 4 hour round trip another day. Shortly thereafter, as I was looking at frames, another customer came in and was offered a same day appointment, that I was told was not possible for me. The only difference between him and I, his skin is white and mine is brown. If you are similarly complected, do what I did and take your business elsewhere.
