Comprehensive exams starting at $95
We recommend an annual exam to help evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Plus, it gives you an opportunity to ask an expert optometrist any eye-related questions.
A detailed image of the surface of your retina for the doctor to assess your eye health and check for conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachments (available at most locations for an additional $39)
Thankfully, no—we have newer methods for measuring intraocular pressure now.
It's best to have this information handy:
A list of any eye- or vision-related symptoms you're experiencing
An overview of your and your family's medical history
A list of medications you're taking (non-prescription medications included)
Your vision insurance information (if applicable)
Any questions you'd like to ask the eye doctor
You should also bring any corrective lenses you're currently using—glasses and contacts—and a pair of sunglasses to wear afterwards in case your eyes are dilated during your exam.
A comprehensive eye exam includes tests for visual acuity, refraction, and binocular vision, as well as a full ocular health assessment. A retinal exam may also be performed, sometimes requiring pupil dilation. Learn more about what to expect here.
We recommend getting an eye exam once a year to evaluate your vision, examine your eye health, and screen for other health issues. Other factors may influence how often you get an eye exam, including your age, whether you wear glasses or contacts, and if your medical history puts you at higher risk for eye diseases.
We're in-network with most major vision carriers, like UnitedHealthcare, Davis Vision, Superior Vision, and some VSP plans. For other plans, like EyeMed and Cigna, we often work as an out-of-network carrier. (Not all optometrists accept all insurance plans. We can only confirm your coverage details during your visit.)
Glasses and contacts prescriptions typically expire one to two years after the prescription was written. This time frame may vary depending on your state's regulations and the risk of your vision changing more quickly.

I came in a week before my appointment and was told that my insurance would cover my appointment only to arrive at my appointment and be told that everything would be out of pocket since my vision insurance was out of pocket. I’m not giving a bad review because they’re not in network. I’m giving a bad review because I made a concerted effort to confirm that everything was good only to take work off and drive to my appointment and find out that it was not. My insurance is VSP by the way. So if you have VSP be warned.

I went here on 2/19/2026 for an eye exam. Because you do not accept my insurance, I was told by the doctor that she would send me my bill that Saturday so I could submit it to my insurance company for reimbursement.
I called again on Monday, 2/23/2026, and spoke with a customer service representative who said he would email the office to have my bill sent to me. As of today 2/28 2026, I still have not received anything.
I called once more and was placed on hold while another representative sorted things out, but the call was disconnected on their end.
This level of customer service is extremely disappointing. If I do not receive my bill promptly, I will move forward with disputing the charge with my bank.

The selection of frames was excellent, with plenty of stylish options to choose from. What stood out most was how efficient everything was — we were in and out in under 30 minutes without ever feeling rushed.

I have been waiting for my contact lens trial appointment since 1/26. It was supposed to take “about a week” to get the lenses in for the trial so that I could order my full supply. I reached out to Warby Parker after not hearing anything for approximately 2 weeks and apparently they only received the left lens and are waiting for the right one. It’s been almost a week since that correspondence and still nothing. I tried to order contacts online but the doctor only gave me my glasses prescription so I can’t. Desperately waiting for a reply just to get the contact prescription so I can order them from a different company. Warby Parker can’t rush my order and I am going to Scuba driving next week so I need them immediately. I find it extremely frustrating that you can’t contact the store directly. The doctor’s voicemail box is full so I can’t even leave them a message.
