This location offers comprehensive eye exams for glasses—as well as eye exams for contacts prescriptions if you already wear contacts.
You don't need anything but your eyeballs to peruse and try on our frames. If you're planning to purchase prescription frames or contacts, it's helpful to have a digital or physical copy of your current prescription. If you'd like to pay with an FSA or HSA card, remember to bring that along, too.No prescription handy? Not a problem! You can come in just to browse, shop for non-prescription sunglasses and accessories, or can book an eye exam at most locations.
We're in-network with several major insurance carriers, and we also make it easy to use out-of-network benefits. (Coverage may vary by location or plan.) Get all the details here.

Yep, at all of our New York locations! Come in for a 15-minute DMV Vision Test with one of our licensed opticians, no appointment needed. The test is $25. (If you don't pass, no worries—we can schedule a comprehensive eye exam for you.)

I love the glasses and the good prices only thing I dislike is that you have to pay 120 for an eye exam even if you see perfectly in the prescription they gave you if it expires each year it’s unnecessary to pay that if I see perfectly and I can’t order glasses from them without a prescription

I was so excited to have my eye appt and to get glasses from here. I got there after booking my appointment online several days ago and was told that I was not in the books and no such appointment existed. What a first impression! I won’t be back. A waste of my time.

Each frame is labeled narrow, medium, wide. I take a narrow frame & often have to randomly search through / try on many to find a narrow fit. I was able to quickly establish my selection based on the narrow criteria. There seem to be a fair selection of each type, but I’m especially grateful for a descent selection of narrow frames.

The store is great. I am so glad there is a WP in the capital region to peruse. I am disappointed that there isn’t an actual optometrist in the building it’s all virtual. When will the owners be adding an in-house Optometrist? Having utilized their service in other major cities an in-house optometrist can be very helpful. I love the WP brand, but this store is just the beta version of the Brand in a major city. Please give the capital region the full WP experience it deserves.

The staff tries very hard. Corporate, you need to open one more location in a 50 mile radius. Appointments are near impossible to get, constant electronic problems with remote appointments. I am returning all of my W Parker products rather than have to deal with that under-equipped location be my local store.

at a time when customer service seems to be a thing of the past, that is NOT the case at Warby Parker's Stuyvesant Plaza location.
the staff is terrific. friendly, professional, and offering all the help you need and want, but no more than that. patient, very familiar with the products, and ready to help any way they can.
my wife and I went in over the weekend. I needed some WP glasses tightened, which they were happy to do. (and they cleaned them too.). my wife was shopping for frames. they gave us all the time we needed, made a few suggestions, and ultimately we made the purchase.
