This location offers comprehensive eye exams for glasses—as well as eye exams for contacts prescriptions if you already wear contacts.
You don't need anything but your eyeballs to peruse and try on our frames. If you're planning to purchase prescription frames or contacts, it's helpful to have a digital or physical copy of your current prescription. If you'd like to pay with an FSA or HSA card, remember to bring that along, too.No prescription handy? Not a problem! You can come in just to browse, shop for non-prescription sunglasses and accessories, or can book an eye exam at most locations.
We're in-network with several major insurance carriers, and we also make it easy to use out-of-network benefits. (Coverage may vary by location or plan.) Get all the details here.

Yep, at all of our New York locations! Come in for a 15-minute DMV Vision Test with one of our licensed opticians, no appointment needed. The test is $25. (If you don't pass, no worries—we can schedule a comprehensive eye exam for you.)

Prices not any better than anyplace else
Frames selection low
I ordered my glasses on January 29 and today is February 14 and they are supposedly still working on them
They were promised 7 to 10 working days
I am afraid they may not be worth it
Save yourself some frustration and go somewhere else especially if you need glasses in a timely manner

They said my insurance covered 2 pairs of glasses. Ordered 2…. Then they emailed a few days later that insurance would only cover one. No problem, private paid for the second pair and co pay x2 for the original pairs. Orders were cancelled somehow after receiving order confirmations and no refund. Going elsewhere and still awaiting refunds. Eye exam was rushed.

I visited warby parker today I was Greeted When I Entered The Store by A Pleasant Female & Was Asked If she Could Help & Directed Me The Frames I Was Looking For! After Selecting My Frame I was Taken Care OF Right Away With The Associate Explaining The cost of Everything I Had A Valid Script So The Process Was Very Easy! I Was In & Out Selecting My Frame & Being Checked Out In 15 min A Very Good Experience! I Recommend Highly! I Will Receive My New Glasses By Mail So I Don't Have To Go Back To The Store Very Conveinent!

While the service was great, the employee entered my incorrect email resulting in never receiving a receipt. Incorrect insurance information applied to the order as well. The difficult thing is you can not directly call the story. The order sat in a pending pile somewhere and I was never contacted. Spent an hour on the phone with who I am assuming was corporate getting passed along. End result, no glasses. They also said they put in a ticket for the Albany to call me. They never did.

I wanted to find frames that were stylish and fit comfortably. Price was also important but not the most important thing. I loved the selection of frames at Warby Parker -- it was hard to choose! Ashley helped me figure out what was best and I ended up buying 2 sets of glasses for less than it would have cost for one pair at the place where I had my exam!

horrible customer service. Went in to try and get a copy of my prescription that I payed to get done and they denied me. Now I can't get an order and they say the only way is to pay for a whole new eye exam. Do not recommend these people unless you have them clearly tell you everything.

The store was very busy when I walked in, but the layout made it easy to try on frames even with so many people. Once I was ready, Amy checked me out in less than 5 minutes. She was incredibly efficient as well as friendly and welcoming. The glasses are very reasonably priced.
