This location offers comprehensive eye exams for glasses—as well as eye exams for contacts prescriptions if you already wear contacts.
You don't need anything but your eyeballs to peruse and try on our frames. If you're planning to purchase prescription frames or contacts, it's helpful to have a digital or physical copy of your current prescription. If you'd like to pay with an FSA or HSA card, remember to bring that along, too.No prescription handy? Not a problem! You can come in just to browse, shop for non-prescription sunglasses and accessories, or can book an eye exam at most locations.
We're in-network with several major insurance carriers, and we also make it easy to use out-of-network benefits. (Coverage may vary by location or plan.) Get all the details here.

Yep, at all of our New York locations! Come in for a 15-minute DMV Vision Test with one of our licensed opticians, no appointment needed. The test is $25. (If you don't pass, no worries—we can schedule a comprehensive eye exam for you.)

NO BIFOCALS. Was extremely disappointed that they only offer progressive lenses but not any type of bifocal. With my prescription, peripheral vision is unacceptably out of focus with progressive lenses - tried them once before and they were a no-go.

I paid for my daughter’s eye exam for eyeglasses and contact lenses. She expressed her concern about the contact lenses making her eyes dry and requested a copy of her prescription because they do not carry the brand that she has used since she was 14. She came back to the store to see the doctor but their solutions don’t work for my daughter. They refuse to provide her with the prescription that I paid for. They disregard customer’s concerns for eye safety. In addition, they don’t have a doctor on-site Fridays or Saturdays. You are stuck with a tech that is constantly asking others what to do. You pay for services but they take the decisions for you. Also, their customer service is HORRIBLE. Since when you take the decisions for the patients? Since when a customer expresses their concerns and you disregard them and don’t care about eye safety? Are you there just for the money?

I literally had an excellent shopping experience. I was looking for nonprescription sunglasses. The two salespeople were so helpful. They picked out a few that I liked, helped me pick which ones looked best on me and adjusted the glasses to better fit me. It was simply an awesome experience. They were so friendly and helpful. My first visit at Warby Parker in Stuyvesant Plaza. I was greeted as I walked in the door. Absolutely wonderful feeling to be acknowledged. Wonderful selection of frames to choose from. I had to take a minute to sit down. I have a traumatic brain injury. I had an employee by the name of Heather come over and check on me. What an absolute wonderful person. She spent time with me and she found me two pairs of glasses that I absolutely love. She was very kind and patient. I will only shop at the store from here on out. Great selection, great staff !!!
