This location offers comprehensive eye exams for glasses—as well as eye exams for contacts prescriptions if you already wear contacts.
You don't need anything but your eyeballs to peruse and try on our frames. If you're planning to purchase prescription frames or contacts, it's helpful to have a digital or physical copy of your current prescription. If you'd like to pay with an FSA or HSA card, remember to bring that along, too.No prescription handy? Not a problem! You can come in just to browse, shop for non-prescription sunglasses and accessories, or can book an eye exam at most locations.

Yep, at all of our New York locations! Come in for a 15-minute DMV Vision Test with one of our licensed opticians, no appointment needed. The test is $25. (If you don't pass, no worries—we can schedule a comprehensive eye exam for you.)

Huge thank you to Heather and Ashley in the Albany store. The lab messed up both our glasses (2 separate issues with them) Heather and Ashley did everything they could to fix the one pair while another was ordered (now 3rd pair as the 1st didnt pass inspection at lab and the 2nd was sent with the lens completely out of the frame). While the script was accurate on my pair, the lab twisted the script on the lenses so I couldn't read with them. Ashley figured that out and fixed as best as she could and ordered another pair. These 2 were so helpful and kind can't thank them enough. Hope WP appreciates them as much as we did!!

Great staff! Great selection of narrow frames! They asked questions and took the time to find out what my needs & style was. Went into the back more than once to look for additional frames to make sure I had a chance to see all available options. Warby Parker was not the first place I looked for these new glasses, but if the glasses are as good as the service they will be my first stop next time. Would strongly recommend the Warby Parker Stuyvesant Plaza location.

Prices not any better than anyplace else
Frames selection low
I ordered my glasses on January 29 and today is February 14 and they are supposedly still working on them
They were promised 7 to 10 working days
I am afraid they may not be worth it
Save yourself some frustration and go somewhere else especially if you need glasses in a timely manner

They said my insurance covered 2 pairs of glasses. Ordered 2…. Then they emailed a few days later that insurance would only cover one. No problem, private paid for the second pair and co pay x2 for the original pairs. Orders were cancelled somehow after receiving order confirmations and no refund. Going elsewhere and still awaiting refunds. Eye exam was rushed.

While the service was great, the employee entered my incorrect email resulting in never receiving a receipt. Incorrect insurance information applied to the order as well. The difficult thing is you can not directly call the story. The order sat in a pending pile somewhere and I was never contacted. Spent an hour on the phone with who I am assuming was corporate getting passed along. End result, no glasses. They also said they put in a ticket for the Albany to call me. They never did.
